Recently, e-commerce has been growing rapidly, which also increases needs of users to get their goods fast and quality. Seeing the potential of this area, parcel service providing companies are investing big money, which help to improve parcel processes. In this work is submitting theoretical aspects of parcel delivery, are explored parcel delivery company analysis and also the methods which can let to improve parcel delivery processes. The main problem of the improvement of parcel delivery process at Delta UAB - parcel delivery not in the right terms. This problem very often arises because of senders mistakes, when they link not full needed information about the parcel. Also this problem can arise because of poor quality work done by the parcel company. The aim of the improvement of parcel delivery process at Delta UAB - get acquainted with logistics activities of UAB “Delta”, process management, analyze and evaluate the logistics processes in the company for optimal performance and provide recommendations for addressing identified problems. (the aim of the work formulated in the introduction is rewritten). Objectives of the improvement of parcel delivery process at Delta UAB: 1. Defining the parcel delivery process and describing activities; 2. Describe the negative factors affecting the parcel delivery process and theoretical, practical methods allowing them to reduce their influence; 3. Get acquainted with logistics activities, processes management of company Delta UAB 4. To show the problems of the processes in the company by the analyzing the most common situations and their possible solutions; 5. To assess the utility of customized methods for the company and possible results; 6. Bring the conclusions summarizing the results of the work and possible suggestions for improvement of the process under investigation. Methods of the (professional BA thesis) – analysis of scientific literature, interview, observation. The structure: In the theoretical part examines the theoretical aspects of parcels delivery, scientific literature sources, different opinions of scientists on the parcels delivery, parcel terminal activity. Also analyzes the methods which can improve parcels delivery processes. In the analytical part analyzes the activities of the company, performing company SWOT, PEST and economic activity analyzes, examines the company parcel delivery process. Also an analyzed company problem situations and possible solutions to them. In the project part applied selected methods, calculated possible company changes by using the chosen methods, presented the benefits of the selected methods to the company. Summarizing the results obtained during the work, it can be stated, that using KAIZEN method it is possible to improve the process of parcels delivery of the company UAB "Delta" and reduce the number of unsuccessful parcels delivery number by 3 percent per year. The work consists of 55 pages, 2 tables, 33 pictures, 33 references and sources of information, 4 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo teorinėje dalyje nagrinėjami siuntų gabenimo teorinei aspektai, mokslinės literatūros šaltiniai, skirtingos mokslininkų nuomonės apie siuntų gabenimą, siuntų terminalo veiklą. Taip pat analizuojami siuntų gabenimą galintys patobulinti metodai. Analitinėje dalyje analizuojamos įmonės veiklos, atliekama nagrinėjamos įmonės SSGG, PEST, ekonominės veiklos analizės, nagrinėjamas įmonės siuntų gabenimo procesas. Taip pat atliekamas tyrimas, analizuojamos probleminės situacijos bei galimi jų sprendimo būdai. Projektinėje dalyje taikomi pasirinkti metodai, skaičiuojami galimi įmonės pokyčiai pritaikius ar taikant pasirinktus metodus, pateikiama galima pritaikytų metodų nauda įmonei.	en_US
