dc.description	Relevance of the topic: Today’s society is more accepting of women with amazing head hair, but a hairless body. These days, a hairless body also gives an image of sophistication to men, leading to an increase in the number of men, who remove their hair. Still, men and women have many different reasons for hair removal, such as dermatological diseases, work, self-esteem, or just a reluctance to have hair on their face or body. There are many available methods and products for hair removal. (Rouzi et al., 2018) However, each method has its advantages and disadvantages. (Ramos-e-Silva et al., 2001) While all of this is considered safe, hair removal can cause appropriate skin problems depending on the chosen method. (Rouzi et al., 2018) Investigation problem. What are the opinion of men and women about hair removal and side effects after the procedure? Research object. Men and women opinion on hair removal and side effects after the procedure. The aim. To reveal the opinion of men and women about hair removal and side effects after the procedure. Research tasks: 1. Discuss the anatomy and physiology of hair in relation to the choice of hair removal method. 2. Describe hair removal methods and possible side effects after hair removal procedure. 3. To determine the opinion of men and women about side effects after hair removal procedure. Research methodology and research subjects: In the professional bachelor's work, an analysis of the scientific and professional literature was performed, as well as a quantitative study - an online survey to reveal the opinion of men and women about hair removal and side effects after the procedure. The survey was conducted from 10 to 15 May and involved 114 respondents. The questionnaire consisted of 17 closed-ended questions that were compiled by the author of the work. The obtained results were analyzed, expressed as a percentage of numbers and presented graphically using Microsoft Office program Microsoft Excel 2016 and Google spreadsheet. Research results and conclusions: The study found that the majority of men and women remove unwanted hair from various parts of the body, most commonly the armpit area and the bikini area. Shaving blades are used for this, only a small part of the respondents uses other methods such as: wax, sugar paste, epilator or depilatory creams. Shaving blades are preferred because it is convenient and affordable. When faced with skin problems, most respondents choose to deal with them at home with cosmetics, but most have chosen that the best way to avoid side effects is to consult a specialist.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas. Dabartinė visuomenė labiau priima moteris turinčias nuostabius galvos plaukus, bet beplaukį kūną. Šiomis dienomis, beplaukis kūnas taip pat suteikia rafinuotumo įvaizdį ir vyrams, todėl didėja skaičiai vyrų, kurie šalina plaukus. Vis dėl to, vyrai ir moterys turi daug skirtingų priežasčių plaukų šalinimui, tokių kaip dermatologinės ligos, darbas, savivertės pakėlimas arba tiesiog nenorėjimas turėti plaukų ant veido ar kūno. Sukurta daugybė prieinamų metodų ir produktų plaukų šalinimui. (Rouzi ir kt., 2018) Tačiau kiekvienas metodas turi savo privalumus bei trūkumus. (Ramos-e-Silva ir kt., 2001) Nors visa tai yra laikoma saugu, plaukų šalinimas gali sukelti atitinkamų odos problemų priklausomai nuo pasirinkto būdo. (Rouzi ir kt., 2018) Tyrimo problema. Kokia vyrų ir moterų nuomonė apie plaukų šalinimą ir šalutinius reiškinius po procedūros? Tyrimo objektas. Vyrų ir moterų nuomonė apie plaukų šalinimą ir šalutinius reiškinius po procedūros. Tyrimo tikslas. Atskleisti vyrų ir moterų nuomonę apie plaukų šalinimą ir šalutinius reiškinius po procedūros. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aptarti plauko anatomiją ir fiziologiją susiejant su plaukų šalinimo būdo pasirinkimu. 2. Aprašyti plaukų šalinimo būdus ir galimus šalutinius reiškinius po plaukų šalinimo procedūros. 3. Nustatyti vyrų ir moterų nuomonę apie šalutinius reiškinius po plaukų šalinimo procedūros. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji. Profesinio bakalauro baigiamajame darbe buvo atlikta mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė, bei kiekybinis tyrimas – internetinė apklausa siekiant atskleisti vyrų ir moterų nuomonę apie plaukų šalinimą ir šalutinius reiškinius po procedūros. Tyrimas vyko gegužės 10-15 dienomis jame dalyvavo 114 respondentų. Anketą sudarė 17 uždaro tipo klausimų, kurie buvo sudaryti darbo autorės. Gauti rezultatai buvo išanalizuoti, išreikšti procentine skaičių išraiška ir pateikti grafiškai naudojant Microsoft Office programą Microsoft Excel 2016 ir „Google“ skaičiuoklę. 6 Tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados: Atlikus tyrimą paaiškėjo, kad didžioji dalis vyrų ir moterų šalina nepageidaujamus plaukelius nuo įvairių kūno vietų, dažniausiai pažastų srities ir bikini zonos. Tam naudoja skutimosi peiliukus, tik maža dalis apklaustųjų naudoja kitus metodus tokius kaip: vašką, cukraus pastą, epiliatorių ar depiliacinius kremus. Skutimą peiliukais renkasi, nes jis yra patogus ir prieinamos kainos. Susidūrus su odos problemomis dauguma jas renkasi spręsti namie kosmetinėmis priemonėmis, tačiau didžioji dalis pasirinko, kad geriausias būdas išvengti šalutinių reiškinių tai kreiptis į specialistą.	en_US
