| dc.description | Young people who are not in education, training, employment, and have fewer opportunities are often confronted with a variety of problems. Research shows that young people face a variety of problems: harmful habits, unemployment, a tendency towards delinquency, lack of education and inability to spend their leisure time well. It can be argued that the problems of young people are important because the well-being of society depends to a large extent on young people. Youth work is a relatively new but rapidly developing field in Lithuania since 2006. Thus, youth work, which is carried out in open youth centers, seeks to contribute to solving the problems young people face. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Niekur nesimokantis, mokymuose nedalyvaujantis, nedirbantis, mažiau galimybių turintis jaunas žmogus dažnai susiduria ir kelia įvairių problemų. Pastebima, kad jaunimas susiduria su įvairiomis problemomis: žalingais įpročiais, nedarbu, polinkiu į nusikalstamumą, nesimokymu bei negebėjimu tinkamai praleisti laisvalaikį. Galima teigti, jog jaunimo problemos yra svarbios, kadangi visuomenės gerovė didele dalimi priklauso nuo jaunimo. Darbas su jaunimu yra ganėtinai nauja, tačiau sparčiai plėtojama sritis Lietuvoje nuo 2006m. Darbas su jaunimu, kuris vykdomas atviruose jaunimo centruose, siekia padėti spręsti jaunimui iškylančias problemas. | en_US |
