dc.description	Relevance of the topic: Hormones are one of the reasons why men are different from women. For men, testosterone is more active, which makes their skin thicker both at the epidermis and dermal level. Men's skin is greasier and has larger pores. Men's sebaceous glands are much smaller than women's. These anatomical properties are key to choosing the most effective cosmetic remedies. With age, production of testosterone decreases, sebum production slows down, and in the 40-50 year old man's skin becomes mature / dehydrated. It is becoming like women skin. Mechanical effects of shaving cause serious harm on skin. Damage of hydrolipid barrier cause skin sensitivity. Skin care should be carried out at the level of the skin, since aging starts there. Problematic question - What is the specificity of men's facial skin and the need for cosmetic care? Aim of the study: The peculiarity of men's facial skin and the need for cosmetic care. Tasks of the study: To reveal the opinion of men about the need for cosmetic skin care for the face. Research tasks: 1. Describe the peculiarities of men's facial skin and the psychological aspects of the approach to cosmetology; 2. To reveal the need for men's facial skin care for cosmetics and procedures; 3. Uncover the peculiarities of men's facial skin and the need for cosmetic care. Research methods: Scientific and professional literature analysis, questionnaire survey, descriptive statistical data analysis method. The survey sample: Only male respondents (N = 85) participated in the questionnaire. Results: Of the 85 respondents, only 20.9% of men (n = 18) do not know their skin type, but only 29.1% of respondents use cosmetic products for men's skin only (n = 25). The most commonly used shaving tool (n = 37) is 21%, after shave (n = 41) 23.3% and day cream (n = 20) 11.4%. Does not use cosmetics for face care (n = 30) at all 17%. Use of decorative cosmetics, only (n = 1) 1.2%. The beard is usually shaved with a razor blade with three blades (n = 34) 36.2%, a shaving machine (n = 30) 31.9%, do not shave (n = 8) 8.5%. Mostly cosmetics 4 are bought in a non-specialized store, cosmetic department (n = 44) at 43.6%. Only n = 5 (5.8%) of the respondents use the beautician's services and most often they perform a facial cleansing procedure (n = 5) of 5.7% and only (n = 1) 1.1% of mesotherapy. That the cosmetology cabinet is intended only for men (n = 16) 18.6% is not important (n = 60) 69.8%. The most common skin problems are comedones (n = 26) 13.5%, acne (n = 26) 13.5%, enlarged, clogged pores (n = 20) 10.4%, wrinkles (n = 16) 8.3 %, there are no skin problems only (n = 19) in 9.8% of the interviewed men. The face is usually washed only with water (n = 66) by 57.4%. The question "Do you have a acne problem?" (N = 46) 53.5% said they did not, and (n = 30) 34.9% said they did not know. Only (n = 22) 25.6% have no habit of pressing acne. The hands and skin are watered before acne is pressed. Carries out detoxification of the parasites only (n = 4) 4.7%. dc.description.abstract	Hormonai - viena iš priežasčių dėl kurių vyrai skiriasi nuo moterų. Vyrams aktyvesnis yra testosteronas, dėl kurio jų oda tampa storesnė ir epidermio, ir dermos lygmeniu. Vyrų oda yra riebesnė ir turi didesnes poras. Vyrų riebalinės liaukos yra gerokai mažesnės nei moterų. Šios anatominės savybės yra pagrindinės renkantis efektyviausias kosmetologines priemones. Su amžiumi testosterono gamybai nykstant, sebumo gamyba sulėtėja ir 40-50 metų vyro oda virsta brandžia/ išsausėjusia. Ji tampa panašesnė į moterų. Mechaninis poveikis skutantis odai daro rimtą žalą. Pažeidžiamas hidrolipidinis barjeras, todėl ji tampa jautri. Odos priežiūra turi būti vykdoma dermos lygmeniu, nes kaip tik ten prasideda senėjimas.	en_US
