Santrauka:
Description:
A reader must be trained by reading to him/her every day from the young age and demonstrating the example of reading. Properly trained understanding, distinguishing and connection of sounds facilitates a child’s learning to read significantly. Reading is not understood as a skill, but rather as a process of thinking that needs energetic activity of a reader. There is no learning, just the course of an interesting activity chosen by a child according to the acceptable methods.
Issue of the research – insufficient attention to the training of children’s reading in the preschool age. The issue is specified with problematic questions: what is the attitude of pedagogues towards the training of reading in preschool-aged children? In what way the training of reading in preschool-aged children takes place in the preschool institution?
Goal of the research – to reveal the significance of self-/training of a preschool-aged child as a reader.
