| dc.description | The theoretical part analyzes the theoretical aspects of intermodal transport, which are - the essence and definition of intermodal transport, technologies and systems, legal regulation (Lithuanian and European Union) and the types and properties of intermodal containers. The6 analytical part provides general information about UAB “Manvesta” and a structured interview, which is used to identify the main obstacles for intermodal transportation. The project part presents improvement directions for intermodal transport and calculates the financial costs. The main problem of the thesis. The intermodal transportation activities of UAB “Manvesta” are quite successful, but due to cargo damage and theft occurring during transportation, the company suffers a number of losses during intermodal transportation. The aim of the thesis. Examine the intermodal transport and its transport process from a theoretical point of view and present the possibilities for improvement that would increase the efficiency of intermodal transport. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Teorinėje dalyje analizuojama intermodalinių pervežimų teoriniai aspektai, kurie yra – intermodalinio transporto esmė ir apibrėžimas, technologijos ir sistemos, teisinis reglamentavimas (Lietuvos ir Europos Sąjungos) ir intermodalinių konteinerių rūšys ir savybės. Analitinėje dalyje pateikiama bendra informacija apie UAB „Manvesta“ ir sudaromas struktūrizuotas interviu, kurio pagalba nustatomos pagrindinės problemos vykdant intermodalinius pervežimus. Projektinėje dalyje pateikiami tobulinimo kryptys intermodalinių pervežimų ir apskaičiuojamos finansinės išlaidos. Darbo problema. UAB „Manvesta“ intermodalinio pervežimo veikla yra ganėtinai sėkminga, tačiau dėl krovinio apgadinimų, vagysčių ir vairuotojų klaidų pasitaikančių transportavimo metu, įmonė patiria nemažai nuostolių vykdant intermodalinius pervežimus. Darbo tikslas. Išnagrinėti intermodalinį transportą ir jo pervežimo procesą teoriniu aspektu ir pateikti tobulinimo galimybes, kurios padidintų intermodalinių pervežimų našumą. | en_US |
