Abstract
Šiame darbe yra analizuojama ekoturizmo sąvoka, jos kilmė ir atsiradimas, ekoturizmo
principai, ištekliai ir infrastruktūra, analizuojama ekoturizmo situacija Panevėžio mieste ir rajone.
Dėl turizmo daromos žalos pasaulyje vis labiau populiarėja kita jo šaka – ekoturizmas. Ekoturizmas
propaguoja atsakingą keliavimą gamtos ir sveitimų kultūrų atžvilgiu. Šią temą verta nagrinėti norint
sužinoti šios turizmo rūšies plitimą ir svarbą Panevėžio mieste ir rajone. Darbo problema darbe
įvardijama Panevėžio miesto ir rajono ekoturizmo infrastruktūros stygius ir plėtros galimybės.
Mieste ir rajone trūksta ekoturizmo infrastruktūros bei ekologiškų paslaugų ar objektų.

This work analyzes the concept of ecotourism and its origin, ecotourism principles,
resources and infrastructure, analyzes the situation of ecotourism in Panevėžys city and district.
Ecotourism promotes responsible travel in relation to nature and foreign cultures. This topic is
worth examining in order to find out the spread and importance of this type of tourism in Panevėžys
city and district. The problem of the work is the lack of ecotourism infrastructure and development
opportunities of Panevėžys city and district. There is a lack of ecotourism infrastructure and
ecological services or facilities in the city and the district.
