dc.description	The aim: to reveal the attitude of individuals towards the importance of wisdom teeth for oral health. Objectives of the study: 1. To define the disorders of oral health and dental occlusion; 2. To describe the wisdom teeth function and their influence on oral health and dental occlusion; 3. To reveal the opinions of individuals on the importance of wisdom teeth. Research methods: A scientific literature analysis was done in this thesis. In order to reveal the opinion of individual’s on the importance of teeth for oral health, who have or had properly grown wisdom teeth or have unproperly grown wisdom teeth, a qualitative research was done and semi structured interview was chosen as data collection method. The research started on December 11, 2017 and ended on April 14, 2018. Eight informants took part in the survey. They were selected according to the homogeneous sample of informants. During the selection, the investigatives chosen, have certain, known in advance qualities that meet the theme of the research. These are people who have or had properly grown wisdom teeth or have unproperly grown wisdom teeth. Research tool – semi structured interview consisting of 9 questions. Results and conclusions: According to individuals, wisdom teeth do not have any value for their health. The attention is drawn only when the teeth are inflickted by a pathological process.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame darbe atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė. Siekiant atskleisti žmonių turinčių ar turėjusių protinius taisyklingai išdygusius, ar retinuotus dantis nuomonę apie šių dantų svarbą burnos sveikatai, buvo atliktas kokybinis tyrimas, o duomenų rinkimo metodu pasirinktas pusiau struktūruotas interviu. Tyrimas vyko nuo 2017 metų gruodžio 11 dienos iki 2018 metų balandžio 14 dienos, apklausoje dalyvavo 8 informantai. Tyrime informantai buvo parinkti pagal homogeninę informantų imtį. Šios atrankos metu yra atrenkami tiriamieji su jau žinomomis tam tikromis ypatybėmis, kurios atitinka tyrimo temą. Tai asmenys, turintys ar anksčiau turėję išdygusius, retinuotus proto dantis . Tyrimo instrumentas – pusiau struktūruotą interviu – sudarė 9 klausimai.	en_US
