dc.description	Relevance of the topic. When it comes to providing social services in a rural community, members of the social work profession frequently face a major problem today – unemployment. Long-term unemployment inevitably becomes part of social exclusion in the society. This is due to poor education of the unemployed, skill shortages, various types of addiction and changes in technologies. Therefore, this paper attempts to reveal and describe the opinion of social workers about the specificities of their work in providing services to the unemployed. Research problem: What are the peculiarities of social work in providing social services to the unemployed in a rural community? Object of the study: the peculiarities of social work in providing social services to the unemployed in a rural community. Aim of the study: identify and describe the peculiarities of social work in providing social services to the unemployed in a rural community. Research tasks: 1. To review the working methods of the social worker in performing tasks with the unemployed in the rural community; 2. To describe the concept of rural community; 3. To single out the main services provided by a social worker to the unemployed living in rural areas; 4. To reveal the opinion of social workers about the peculiarities of social work in providing social services to the unemployed in the rural community. Research methodology and subjects. Qualitative study i.e. interview survey, was performed using semi-structured interview questionnaire including 15 different types of questions. Analysis of scientific literature and information sources. In the survey participated 6 informants, social workers working in rural elderships. Results of the empirical study: based on the analysis of the empirical study, the opinion of the social worker revealed that the main features of social work in providing social services to the unemployed in the rural community are following: constant emotional support and motivation for those who have lost their jobs, development of social skills, informing and consulting the community about unemployment problems, involving support organizations and NGOs, communicating with inter-institutional institutions and offering various communication alternatives with the urban community, engaging the unemployed in the labour market.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: socialinio darbo profesijos atstovai teikdami socialines paslaugas kaimiškoje bendruomenėje, dažnai susiduria su šių dienų opiausia problema – bedarbyste. Ilgalaikė bedarbystė neišvengiamai tampa socialinės atskirties dalimi tarp visuomenės. Tai nulemia pačių bedarbių išsilavinimo stoka, kvalifikacijos trūkumas, įvairios priklausomybės ir technologijų gausos pokyčiai. Todėl šiame darbe bandoma atskleisti ir aprašyti socialinių darbuotojų nuomonę, apie jų darbo ypatumus, teikiant paslaugas bedarbiams. Tyrimo problema: kokie socialinio darbo ypatumai, teikiant socialines paslaugas bedarbiams kaimo bendruomenėje? Tyrimo objektas: socialinio darbo ypatumai, teikiant socialines paslaugas bedarbiams kaimo bendruomenėje. Tyrimo tikslas: išryškinti socialinio darbo ypatumus, teikiant socialines paslaugas bedarbiams kaimo bendruomenėje. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apžvelgti socialinio darbuotojo darbo metodus dirbant su bedarbiais kaimo bendruomenėje; 2. Aprašyti kaimo bendruomenės sampratą; 3. Išskirti pagrindines socialinio darbuotojo teikiamas paslaugas bedarbiams gyvenantiems kaimo vietovėje; 4. Atskleisti socialinių darbuotojų nuomonę, apie socialinio darbo ypatumus, teikiant socialines paslaugas bedarbiams kaimo bendruomenėje. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: taikytas kokybinis tyrimas, apklausa interviu būdu, parengtas pusiau struktūruotas interviu klausimynas, kurį sudaro 15 skirtingo tipo klausimų. Mokslinės literatūros ir informacinių šaltinių analizė. Tyrime dalyvavo 6 informantai, socialiniai darbuotojai dirbantys kaimiškose seniūnijose. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: remiantis empirinio tyrimo analize, paaiškėjo socialinio darbuotojo nuomonė, kad pagrindiniai socialinio darbo ypatumai, teikiant socialines paslaugas bedarbiams kaimo bendruomenėje yra tokie: nuolat teikiama emocinė parama ir vyksta motyvavimas darbo netekusiems asmenims, ugdomi socialiniai įgūdžiai, taip pat bendruomenė informuojama ir konsultuojama apie nedarbo problemas, yra įtraukiamos paramos organizacijos bei NVO, komunikuojama su tarpinstitucinėmis įstaigomis ir siūlomos įvairios susiekimo alternatyvos su miesto bendruomene, socializuojant bedarbius į darbo rinką.	en_US
