dc.description	Tourism is an integral part of the activities and hobbies of the people of today. Countries or regions with interesting history or nature of spectacular beauty - always attract many people from all over the world. This is a huge economic benefit for both the city and the country as a whole. Therefore, it is very important that in these information times, when people can reach out even from the most distant parts of the world, the regions will use their available resources to promote tourism and to attract as many tourists as possible. The problem of thesis - Jurbarkas region does not fully realize its available resources for the development of local tourism. The main thesis goal is to analyze the possibilities of local tourism development in Jurbarkas region. The objectives: ● To analyze the concept and peculiarities of local tourism and its development; ● To perform analysis of local tourism in Jurbarkas region; ● To make proposals for the development of local tourism in Jurbarkas region. The work methods that were used to achieve the objectives and implement: analysis of scientific literature, legal and strategic planning documents, interview and SWOT analysis. The theoretical part explains the concept of local tourism and tourist, types of local tourism resources and development. The practical part analyzes the current tourism situation in Jurbarkas region and the results of the interview survey. Proposals for tourism development in Jurbarkas region are presented in the design part. The local tourism concept and its components which are important for the development for the local tourism in a particular region were explained. The survey revealed the current tourism situation in Jurbarkas region and what professionals think about local tourism and its development potential. Discovered the main drawbacks and advantages of the land and, according to this, proposals were made on how to develop local tourism.	en
dc.description.abstract	Vietinio turizmo plėtros vystymas aktualus kiekvienam rajonui, o ypač mažesniems - mažiau populiariems regionams. Tai padeda pritraukti daugiau žmonių, o tuo pačiu ir jų pinigų. Efektyviai naudojami pinigai leidžia išlaikyti istorines vertybes, gamtinius ir kultūrinius išteklius, vystyti infrastruktūrą, maitinimo ir apgyvendinimo paslaugas. Tokiu būdu susidaro socialinis darnumas, vietiniam verslui lengviau išsilaikyti, gyventojai tampa laimingesni, o kraštas turtingesnis.	en_US
