dc.description	The institution whose network is renewed is based in 1993 and is a dynamically developing institution of higher education that continues the tradition of continuous improvement in organizing studies in Kaunas and Vilnius. The purpose of the institution is to join the development of the Lithuanian knowledge society by developing management, law and tourism specialists for active full-fledged activities in the international and local economy. The thesis analyzes possible modern network technologies and their implementation in the institution. First of all, the situation in the institution is analyzed - what kind of computer equipment is used by the employees and students of the institution, is it possible to leave some equipment, or to change everything. The analysis shows that a very small part of the equipment can still be used, more needs to be changed – to build new routers, switches, internet cables, new computers and servers. In the final work, new network equipment is chosen that will replace and reduce all old and worn routers and switches. for Employees are selected with new computers that allow employees to work quickly and with high quality, adapt new computers to students, taking into account their tasks and work. Suitable locations for wireless dots that will provide high quality and fast Internet access, but will not be able to access servers on the internal network of the institution. The VPN tunnel is designed to allow access to servers located in Vilnius premises from premises in Kaunas. Server Configuration Performed - Configured firewall to prevent unauthorized access to servers by increasing security. Economic calculations have been carried out to show that the cost of the backup equipment is high but necessary for safety.	en
dc.description.abstract	Darbe analizuojama esama įstaigos kompiuterinio tinklo situacija, įskaitant kompiuterius bei serverius. Analizuojama, kokius įrenginius galima naudoti, kuriuos pakeisti, palyginami skirtingi įrenginiai, iš kurių parenkami, kurie geriausiai atitinka įstaigos poreikius. Suprojektuojamas naujas tinklas, atliekama įrenginių konfigūracija bei apskaičiuojami projekto atlikimo kaina bei terminai.	en_US
