dc.description	Relevance of the work. A social worker who provides social services for families at social risk faces a lot of difficulties. As a result, social work has been included into the list of dangerous professions. Social workers usually face psychological or even physical violence, frequently feel emotional pressure, stress, suffer from the workload which is too big, receives a small salary, not enough vacation days, insufficient training to develop their qualification, etc. The study will reveal the difficulties faced by social workers in providing social services to families at risk of living in a rural area and helping to make decisions about how to evercome difficulties. Problem analysed: what difficulties do social workers experience when providing social services for families at social risk living in rural areas? The aim of the thesis: to identify the difficulties experienced by a social worker when providing social services for families at social risk living in rural areas. Research methods: analysis of literary and scientific courses; semi-structures interview; content data analysis. Research results have they face difficulties related to organisation of their work, working with too many families which are difficult to access, inoperative work of their management that interfers with continued work with families. Employees lack stationery supplies, hygiene and protection items, the access to vehicles is also limited. When providing social services for families, social workers face their passiveness and reluctance to carry out their work plans and comply with agreements, the services are also insufficient to improve their situation and skills. The clients are not motivated, do not acknowledge their problems, hide the information or lie, it is hard for social workers to establish the contact. When visiting families, social workers do not feel safe, they feel constant dissatisfaction of their clients, experience constant discomfort or risk to contract infectious diseases.	en

Socialiniai darbuotojai nuolat susiduria su psichologiniu ar net fiziniu smurtu, dažnai jaučia emocinę įtampą, išgyvena stresą; kenčia nuo didelio darbo krūvio, mažo darbo užmokesčio, nepakankamų atostogų, ribojamų kvalifikacijos kursų kėlimo ir pan.	en_US
