dc.description.abstract Vis dažniau galima pastebėti, jog mokslininkai sąkandžio anomalijomis ir įvairiais gydymo būdais, burnos sveikatos gerinimo, funkcijų bei estetinio vaizdo gerinimo tikslais domisi vis labiau. Tačiau mažai dėmesio yra skiriama informuotumui apie kitą šio gydymo pusę – mitybos bei fizinės veiklos pokyčius ortodontinio gydymo metu. Pacientai, kurie pradeda ortodontinį gydymą turi pakeisti mitybos bei fizinės veiklos įpročius. Kartais pakeisti mitybos įpročius yra sunku, kadangi maisto pasirinkimui įtakos turi įvairūs psichologiniai, fiziologiniai, socialiniai ir ekonominiai faktoriai. en_US
