Santrauka:
Temos aktualumas.

Description:
Relevance of the topic. The importance of emotional intelligence (EQ) in the world has been discussed for more than 20 years, but this concept has become known and discussed in Lithuania quite recently (Vaišvydienė, Gedvilienė, 2017). Prolonged time at digital screens may negatively affect children’s contact with adults and peers in the future. Parents and child educators should keep in mind that children may become insensitive and no longer be able to control their emotions at an early age (Alwaely, Abdalla, Mikhaylov, 2020).
