Santrauka:
Darbo aktualumas.
3. Remiantis šio tyrimo rezultatų duomenimis, slaugytojų edukacinė veikla susideda iš
šių pagrindinių komponentų: paciento mokymas, profesinių įgūdžių tobulinimas, kitų asmenų
instruktavimas, atsakingas pareigų atlikimas, psichologiniai įgūdžiai atpažinti kitų emocijas bei
gebėjimas suteikti reikiamą pagalbą. Respondentai savo edukacinę veiklą vertina daugiausiai gerai.
Slaugytojos nurodo, jog labai gerai geba suteikti psichologinę pagalbą pacientams bei mano gerai gebančios atpažinti bei valdyti jų emocijas, tačiau kiek prasčiau geba sudaryti paciento mokymosi planą.
Description:
Relevance of the work. Worldwide, head injuries range from 0.1 to 0.4 percent of
population. Injuries are the leading cause of death among people under the age of 45, and co-death
is the main cause of cardiovascular and oncological diseases. The highest percentage of these
dangerous injuries are head injuries. The highest percentage of these dangerous injuries are head
injuries. Therefore, in the treatment of such patients, the knowledge and activities of nurses is an
integral part of patient healing and care, the quality of which is essential for achieving the goals of
the nursing process.
The aim of this study was to assess nurses' performance in nursing patients who have
suffered brain injury. Tasks: To describe brain injuries from clinical and nursing point of view; To
determine the performance of nurses in the implementation of the nursing process for patients with
brain injuries; 3. Assess nurses' performance in preventing acute complications in the care of
patients with brain injuries; 4. To identify educational activities of nurses in nursing patients who
have suffered brain injuries.
Research problem: What is the role of nurses in providing nursing care for patients with
brain injuries. Methodology: The paper used a quantitative survey - a survey consisting of 21
questions. The study involved 41 nurses.
Conclusions:
1. The survey found that nurses' performance in nursing patients with brain injuries was
generally rated very well. The results show that nurses are able to ensure a smooth nursing process
and to recognize the patient's nursing needs.
2. The results of a survey of nurses' activities helping to prevent acute complications
taking care of patients with brain injuries show that most nurses are very capable of performing the
required actions and are aware of the symptoms of brain injuries and possible complications
requiring appropriate nursing procedures. Some elements of this activity suggest that it is
appropriate to deepen knowledge and skills in order to ensure a smoother nursing process to help
prevent acute complications.
3. According to the results of this study, nursing educational activities consists of the
following key components: patient education, professional development, coaching, responsible
performance, psychological skills to recognize the emotions of others, and the ability to provide
appropriate support. Respondents rate their educational activities as generally good. Nurses indicate
that they are very capable of providing psychological support to patients and that they are well-
known and capable of recognizing their emotions, but are less able to develop a patient's learning plan.
