The Final Thesis contains an investigation of the computer networking of Company “Migiris” JSC and the need and possibilities for its upgrading and modernisation. The object of the Thesis is the computer networking of “Migiris” JSC. The aim of the Final Thesis is to develop an optimal and economical project for upgrading of the computer networking of “Migiris” JSC. The objectives of the Final thesis are as follows: To analyse computer networking technologies and topologies from a theoretical point of view. To develop a plan for upgrading of the computer networking of „Migiris“ JSC. To review the safety of the computer networking of „Migiris“ JSC and to provide the measures, which ensure its safety. To establish the need for upgrading of „Migiris“ JSC harware and software, and to calculate the costs of material resources. On the basis of the literature reviewed in the Thesis, an analysis of the computer networking od „Migiris“ JSC has been carried out. The Final Thesis consists of two main parts: an analytic part and a project part. Taking the needs of „Migiris“ JSC into consideration, there is a plan of material and financial resources developed for the implementation of the project.
