| dc.description | Nowadays, the use of antidepressants is a very common phenomenon. People are increasingly diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorders, insomnia, persistent stress, a sense of futility, anxiety about past activity, and suicidal thoughts. One of the reasons why these diseases are increasingly diagnosed is the increasing use of antidepressants. As more and more people use antidepressants, it is important to be disciplined when using them in order to maximize the quality of life and avoid side effects. The aim of the final thesis is to reveal how people use antidepressants in Panevėžys city and district. Research tasks: 1. Define the possibilities of antidepressants usage. 2. To describe the pharmacological properties of antidepressants. 3. To reveal habits of antidepressant use in the population. In the final work, scientific literature was used to evaluate the pharmacotherapy of antidepressants and to reveal their rational use. A quantitative study was conducted. Quantitative research instrument - a questionnaire, which was randomly distributed in Panevėžys city and district. The study group consisted of people that are taking antidepressants. Survey samples - 150 inhabitants. The final work consists of literature analysis, part of empirical research, conclusions and references. Literature analysis presents the main characteristics of antidepressants, their use and peculiarities of use. The empirical study shows how the inhabitants of Panevėžys city and district use antidepressants, what side effects they experience as well as how they solve them and the results are presented using tables and figures. Conclusions and a list of references are given at the end. Surveys in Panevėžys city and district have shown that most people use antidepressants in a disciplined way, and consumption habits and undesirable effects depends on each resident individually. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo aprašytos antidepresantų farmakologinės savybės, panaudojimo galimybės, vartojimo ypatumai, sąveikos su kitais vaistiniais preparatais ir sukeliami nepageidaujami poveikiai. Nustatyta kaip antidepresantus vartoja Panevėžio miesto ir rajono gyventojai. Išanalizavus mokslinę literatūrą ir atlikus empirinio tyrimo duomenų interpretaciją, darbo pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados.
