| dc.description | The main problem for people involved in water sports in swimming pools is the lack of knowledge about the prevention of caries and the effect of chlorine on teeth. The study revealed that a number of people involved in water sports in swimming pools still do not have enough knowledge about how to properly care for their teeth after sports. The impression is that even with the necessary information on prevention and care, many athletes are under-motivated to use it. The study also revealed that most athletes are unaware that chlorine in pool water has a direct effect on their teeth and that teeth need to be cleaned after a workout in the pool to protect them from harmful effects | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Pagrindinė baseinuose vandenlenčiu sportu užsiimančių žmonių problema – ėduonies atsiradimo profilaktikos žinių bei chloro įtakos dantims stoka. Atlikus tyrimą paaiškėjo, kad nemažai baseinuose vandenlenčiu sportu užsiimančių žmonių vis dėlto neturi pakankamai žinių, kaip taisyklingai prižiūrėti savo dantis po sporto. Susidaro toks įspūdis, kad net ir pateikiant reikalingą informaciją apie profilaktiką ir priežiūrą, nemažai sportininkų turi per mažai motyvacijos ja naudotis. Tyrimo rezultatai, taip pat, atskleidė, kad dauguma sportuojančių asmenų nežino, jog chloras esantis baseino vandenyje turi tiesioginės įtakos jų dantims, ir kad po treniruotės baseine reikia išssivalyti dantis norint apsaugoti juos nuo žalingo poveikio | en_US |
