This Bachelor’s thesis covers the theoretical aspects of the introduction of a new service into a market. The scientific literature supports the importance of this process to the company, while the analysis of the company itself, that has been completed in this thesis, finds the opportunities and steps that can be taken to improve the assortment of services the company can provide. The introduction of a new moving service in the Lithuanian market is supported by Lithuanian emigration data. The study completed in this thesis showed concrete decisions that have to be made in order to introduce this service to the market successfully. The main problem - the necessity for UAB HELLMAN WORLDWIDE LOGISTICS to offer a new service. The aim - to propose specific steps when introducing a new service into the market. Methods of the work: analysis of scientific studies, analysis of company’s data, statistics analysis, quantitative survey. The structure – the first part of the thesis analyses the process which should be used when introducing a new service to the market, according to numerous scientists, studies, and scientific resources. In the second part, the business activity of the company is discussed, including the events in the company’s history, as well as its internal and external environment, and SWOT analysis. The third part presents the quantitative survey, how it was carried out and its results. The last part presents specific solutions for introducing a new service into the market, with the analysis of scientific studies, the results of the quantitative survey and the analysis of the company in mind. The results and suggestions - having analyzed the introduction of a new service on the market, it has been noted that it’s crucial to keep the company competitive, to attract new customers, to increase company’s profits and value. In order to provide the company with a new service, the first thing it needs is to: create a website, prepare an appropriate commercial campaign, set up a preliminary price list and hire necessary staff. The work consists of 50 pages, 12 tables, 14 pictures, 32 references and sources of information, 1 appendice. en
