Accountancy and Finance Department, Faculty of Managament and Economics, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences. Kaunas,2018. 70 pages. The BA thesis is based on the research of financial position. The topic of this BA thesis is relevant due to the fact that UAB „DPD Lietuva“ is the local leader in parcel delivering. Therefore in the case of bankrupt, none of other parcel delivery companies would be able to accept all the big clients that UAB „DPD Lietuva“ accumulates. The main problem of the thesis is that unefficient money management or bad company management leads to the bankrupt of the company. Consistant surveillance of companies‘ financial performances should protect companies from bankrupt and help owners to manage company successfully. The aim of the thesis is to explore theoretical and practical aspects of financial analysis and companies‘ money management. Also to analyze UAB „ DPD Lietuva“ financial performance during 2013-2017 to estimate its financial position. The subject matter of the researh are financial statements of UAB „DPD Lietuva“ during 2013-2017. To reach the aim of the thesis there were analysed and structured Lithuanian and foreign country‘s writers research of financial position. Financial position of UAB „DPD Lietuva“ was estimated using horizontal analysis, vertical analysis, performance indicators, graphical presentation, comparing analysis, financial statements‘ prediction and bankrupt diagnose models. Research of UAB „DPD Lietuva“ financial position has led to the following conlusions: company is profitable, with regards to the company‘s profitable performance indicators. Company‘s solvency ratios indicates that company is stable and there was no sign of bankrupt during the analysed period. Good company‘s performance indicators shows strong company‘s financial position and bankrupt predictions models shows that there is no sign of bankrupt in the near future. Best advice is to stop cooperate with subcontractors. In this case, company should hire its own drivers and to purchase its own trucks and vans to strengthen its financial condition. The BA thesis consists of 70 pages, 10 tables, 33 pictures, 37 references and 17 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Darbas yra parengtas remiantis finansinės būklės tyrimu. Darbo tikslui pasiekti buvo naudojama įvairių lietuvių autorių literatūra, taip pat moksliniai straipsniai, užsienio autorių literatūra, internetiniai puslapiai. Praktinėje dalyje buvo naudojama vertikali ir horizontali analizė, santykinių rodiklių analizė, grafinis vaizdavimas, konkurentų palyginamoji analizė, prognozavimo ir bankroto nustatymo metodai. Pagrindinis pasiūlymas yra atsisakyti subkontraktorių paslaugų. Tokiu atveju įmonės skolos tiekėjams palaipsniui turėtų mažėti, o nuosavų kurjerių pasamdymas ir nuosavo transporto įsigijimas rodys įmonės ateities viziją ir stiprins jos finansinę būklę.	en_US
