Description of the work. The topic that is analysed in this Professional Bachelor’s thesis is focused on peculiarities of the hotel situated in the cultural heritage site activities. This topic is relevant because, after becoming a member of the European Union, Lithuania has to implement obligations to preserve and restore cultural heritage. The main problem is the fact that nobody has analysed the Best Baltic Panemunės Pilis as the cultural heritage object. There are works only about Lithuanian manors. The aim of this work is to analyse peculiarities of the chosen hotel that is the cultural object activities. The structure of work. The analysis of the cultural heritage concept, tangible and intangible heritage, legal regulations safeguarding it from the external harm, accommodation specifics in the different type hotels and hotel – castle are provided in the first part of this work. Description of the hotel Best Baltic Panemunės Pilis, events and excursions that are organised in it analysed in the second part. The results of the questionnaire for the hotel guests and employees to identify current opinion about the hotel – castle, positive aspects of its activity and things that can be improved as well as the interview findings are introduced in the third part. Summarised research results are also provided in this part. Suggestions on who and how has to deal with the existing problems to increase awareness about the hotel and strengthen its competitive positions are described in the recommendations. Scope of the work. The work consists of 79 pages, 5 tables, 41 figures, 50 references, and 6 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Profesinio bakalauro baigiamajame darbe nagrinėjama tema: viešbučio, kaip objekto veiklos ypatumai kultūros pavelde. Tai yra aktuali tema tuo, nes Lietuva įstojus į Europos Sąjunga, ji turi vykdyti nustatytus įsipareigojimus, kad būtų saugomas ir atkuriamas kultūros paveldas. Pagrindinė baigiamojo darbo problema: ta, kad niekas dar nėra nagrinėjęs ,,Best Baltic Panemunės pilis“ kaip apie kultūros paveldo objektą, yra nagrinėta tik Lietuvos dvarai. Šio darbo tikslas: pateikti ir išnagrinėti pasirinkto viešbučio, kaip kultūros paveldo objekto veiklos ypatumus. Pirmojoje darbo dalyje yra nagrinėjama kultūros ir kultūros paveldo samprata. Darbe aprašomas materialusis ir nematerialusis kultūros paveldas, nagrinėjami įtvirtinti kultūros paveldo apsaugos teisiniai aspektai, kad nebūtų daroma žala iš išorės. Pateikiama ir palyginama apgyvendinimo specifika įvairių tipų viešbučiuose. Trumpai pristatoma, kokia yra apgyvendinimo specifika viešbutyje-pilyje. Antroje darbo dalyje yra pristatomas ,,Best Baltic Panemunės pilis“ viešbutis, jame vykstantys renginiai ir vedamos ekskursijos. Trečioje šio darbo dalyje analizuojamos anketinės viešbučio svečių ir darbuotojų apklausos anketos, susidariusi nuomonė apie viešbutį-pilį, gerai vertinamus ir tobulintinus jo veiklos aspektus, bei interviu metu gauti duomenys. Apibendrinti duomenys taip pat pateikiami šioje dalyje. Visi gauti anketų ir interviu rezultatai apibendrinti ir išanalizuoti. Baigiamojo darbo pasiūlymuose yra pateikiama rekomendacijos kaip turėtų spręsti esančias problemas, kad viešbutis-pilis butų žinomas ir konkurencingas. Darbo apimtis: baigiamajame yra 79 puslapiai, 5 lentelės, 41 paveikslėlis, 50 literatūros ir informacijos šaltinių, 6 priedai.	en_US
