This paper analyses the effectiveness of transport activity at UAB ‘Baltic Pack’, its essential problem and gives the solution. By implementing the solution, the transport activity of the company would improve and costs would be diminished. Ineffective activity may have a negative impact on other processes, may stop them and damage the overall effectiveness of the company. To avoid this, a detailed company analysis must be implemented and problems together with their solutions must be found. The main problem of the professional BA thesis: the lack of the effectiveness of UAB ‘Baltic Pack’ transport activity. The aim of the professional BA thesis: to identify the problem of UAB ‘Baltic Pack’ transport activity and give the solution. Objectives of the professional BA thesis: 1. To analyse logistics and freight forwarding processes in a theoretical way; 2. To analyse the company in an analytical way and to identify its problem in transport logistics; 3. To offer a possible solution. Methods of the professional BA thesis: • The analysis of academic articles; • The analysis of primary and secondary sources; • The interview; • The analysis of inner data of the company. The structure: the theoretical part discusses about logistics activities and its types, the definitions of transport logistics and freight forwarding, its problem areas and the importance of backloading. The analytical part analyses UAB ‘Baltic Pack’ and its transport activity as well as indicates the main problem. The project part offers a solution and presents the calculations. The results: the analysis of the company indicated the main problem - the return of empty trucks. This makes transport activity of the company ineffective and causes additional costs. Recommendations: in order to improve the transport activity, it is recommended to organise a backload by cooperating with regular and individual clients. This would help the company to save costs, to improve the effectiveness of transport activity and other processes and it would also contribute to the overall result of the company. The work consists of: 55 pages, 6 tables, 7 pictures, 56 references and sources of information, 1 appendix.	en

Analitinėje dalyje analizuojama įmonė „Baltic Pack“ ir jos transporto veikla, nustatoma įmonės probleminė veiklos sritis.
