Attractiveness of the hotel is determined by many factors, which help to attract customers. Service quality in the hotel is one of the most important factors, which delivers satisfaction of the guests. Professional Bachelor’s thesis will examine the current situation in Hof hotel and will propose possible solutions for hotel improvement for attractiveness as a place for events. The primary aim of final thesis is how to improve service quality for the hotel to attract more customers to use their provided facilities including conferences rooms. Methods used in the work: analysis of scientific literature, observation, quantitative participants during events survey, descriptive statistical analysis, qualitative employees interview, SWOT analysis. This work consists of three parts: theoretical, analytical and practical. Theoretical part reveals analysis of scientific literature sources, presents various authors opinions. Also, this part displays hotel as a place for event management concept. Analytical part consists of detailed analysis of SWOT, qualitative employees interview analysis, quantitative survey of participants during events in the Hof hotel. This work part describes the research methodology as well. Graphically presents research results and conclusions. Summarizes questionnaire survey and interview results, then performs a SWOT analysis, which presents strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats as well as conclusions. The practical part indicates proposals of Hof Hotel improvement for attractiveness as a place for event management. Summarizing all parts of final thesis it can be concluded that Hof hotel is quite attractive place because of support of employees, feedback of customers and its location. But on the other hand, according to research results it revealed that hotel needs improvement to become more attractive as a place for events. en
