Kaunas, 2018. 74 pages Description of the professional BA thesis – Seasonality forces companies to take care of seasonal goods storage and warehouses. Seasonal stock management requires a lot of analysis and workflow. The purposeful planning of seasonal stocks is very complicated as it is difficult to predict the appropriate needs for the different seasons. In professional BA thesis we analyzed the possibilities of seasonal stock management. We conducted surveys on direct supply and seasonal stock management improvement. The calculations are presented in the work, the best option for improvement of stock management is selected. The main problem of the professional BA thesis – Effective warehousing in preparation for incoming seasonal goods and returning stocks from last seasonal trading. The aim of the professional BA thesis – To analyze the types of stocks and warehousing processes, to find opportunities for the improvement of storage of seasonal stocks and to evaluate them. Objectives of the professional BA thesis: 1. Analyze inventory management using literature. 2. To analyze the storage of seasonal stocks. 3. Provide specific seasonal goods storage opportunities. Methods of the professional BA thesis – Scientific literature analysis, questionnaire survey, company data analysis, interviews, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, forecasting. The structure – The theoretical part discusses the concept of warehouse and terminal, their differences. Describes warehouse efficiency, warehouse classifications and processes in it. Provides inventory management models, inventory types, and defines what is seasonal. The analytical part of the work provides general information about the company, PEST and SWOT analysis. Two researches are conducted: RESEARCH ON DIRECT RESOURCE SUPPLY and research on the improvement of the storage of seasonal stocks. The project part contains an assessment of seasonal stock estimate, calculates the necessary resource requirements for the chosen option. Provides specific suggestions for resolving the issue. The work consists of 74 pages, 12 tables, 31 pictures, 34 references and sources of information, 3 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo teorinėje dalyje aptariamas sandėlio ir terminalo samprata, jų skirtumai. Aprašomas sandėlio efektyvumas, sandėlio klasifikacijos ir procesai jame. Pateikiami atsargų valdymo modeliai, atsargų tipai ir apibrėžiama, kas yra sezoniškumas. Analitinėje darbo dalyje pateikiama bendroji informacija apie įmonę, atliekama įmonės ekonominė, PEST ir SSGG analizės. Atliekami du tyrimai: tiesioginio atsargų tiekimo tyrimas ir sezoninių atsargų saugojimo tobulinimo tyrimas. Projektinėje dalyje pateikiamas sezoninių atsargų saugojimo įvertinimas, apskaičiuojamas reikiamas išteklių poreikis pasirinktai galimybei pasiekti. Pateikiami konkretūs pasiūlymai numatytai problemai išspręsti.	en_US
