Kauno Kolegija/ University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Business Management. - Kaunas, 2018. 51 pages. This paper analyzes JSC “ETA” logistics activities. It examines the theory of logistics, and analysis company activity, performed an economic analysis, interviewed employees and the head of the company. The study raises a major problem in most cases it hype causes and possible solutions. The main problem of the (professional BA thesis) - it was concluded that the main problem in the company “ETA“ is a failure to deliver items within the stated timeframe. The aim of the (professional BA thesis) - After analyzing the company's activity, and factors causing delays in deliveries, to provide optimal solutions to the problem. Objectives of the (professional BA thesis): 1. Perform information flow management theoretical aspects of analysis; 2. Negative factors influencing the organization of the transportation of consignments and the means used to reduce them; 3. To define the activities of the company, distinguishing the main aspects and negative factors influencing the process of transportation of consignments; 4. After conducting a qualitative research and case analysis, present the results summarizing the conclusions and suggestions for improvement of the parcel transportation process. Methods of the (professional BA thesis) - Finding theoretical information on the Internet and other sources of information. Collection of information about the company, its analysis, economic analysis. Exclusion of problem situations. The structure - The first part of the paper reviews the importance of information flow in the theoretical aspect. The second part provides general information about the company, its activities. An analysis of ongoing processes and the most common problems and their causes are also provided. The third part contains analyzes of problem situations and possible solutions to them. After evaluation of the company's services, the problem was identified - non-delivery of shipments on time. In order to solve this problem, the Kaizen method should be applied, which would allow recipients to be warned about the arrival of the shipment. Also would be possible to adjust the working hours of couriers, i.e. delivery of items at evenings and weekends. In addition, the company would be able to purchase a sorting unit to help reduce employee errors. The work consists of 51 pages, 6 tables, 18 pictures, 32 references and sources of information, 3 appendices. en
dc.description.abstract Baigiamojo darbo pirmoje dalyje apžvelgiama informacinių srautų logistikoje svarba. Antroje dalyje pateikiama bendroji informacija apie įmonėje vykdomas veiklas. Taip pat pateikiama vykstančių procesų analizė bei dažniausiai pasitaikančios problemos ir jų priežastys. Trečioje dalyje pateikiamos probleminių situacijų analizės bei galimi jų sprendimo būdai. en_US
