Growing trade with abroad leads to disturbances in the organization of import and export processes that have an impact on the performance of companies, and it is therefore important to correct the processes. AB „Kauno Grūdai” has encountered a problem of inconsistencies between the declared and actual customs codes, and therefore the company has to pay fines. To offer a solution to the actual problem it is important to perform theoretical and practical analysis of import process management. The main problem of the (professional BA thesis) – import process management errors. The aim of the (professional BA thesis) – to analyze the peculiarities of the management of import processes in the theoretical and practical aspects and to provide the solution for the improvement of the import process of AB „Kauno Grūdai“. Objectives of the (professional BA thesis) – AB „Kauno Grūdai” import process management. Methods of the (professional BA thesis) – Analysis of sientific literature and others surces of information, analysis of company’s website, interview method, SWOT and PEST analysis. The structure – The theoretical part discusses with the opinions of different authors, scientific literature on the concept of logistics, the processes of transportation and information management and import processes. In the second part of the final work, the results of AB „Kauno Grūdai” company analysis and qualitative structured and in-depth interview with the employees of the company in question are presented. In the third part of the work, taking into account the results of the first and second parts, a possible way of solving the problem is considered. The results/conclusions – imports must take into account most aspects in order to avoid major errors, such as incorrect product classification. In the course of the investigation, it became clear that due to incorrectly declared code AB „Kauno Grūdai” pays fines to the state The proposed solution to the problem is the receipt of binding tariff information (BTI) from the customs The work consists of 64 pages, 4 tables, 29 pictures, 43 references and sources of information, 5 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamojo darbo teorinėje dalyje nagrinėjamos skirtingų autorių nuomonės, moksline literatūra logistikos sampratos, transportavimo procesų bei informacijos valdymo ir importo procesų temomis. Antroje baigiamojo darbo dalyje pateikti AB „Kauno Grūdai“ įmonės analizės bei kokybinio struktūrizuoto ir giluminio interviu su aptariamos kompanijos darbuotojais, rezultatai. Trečioje darbo dalyje, atsižvelgiant į pirmos ir antros dalies rezultatus, nagrinėjamas galimas aptariamos problemos sprendimo būdas.	en_US
