dc.description	Relevance of the topic: Makeup plays an important role in women’s lives. With the help of decorative cosmetics, it is possible to visually hide the disadvantages and highlight the advantages. Women pay special attention to the eyes when doing makeup. With the help of eye make-up, it is possible to visually correct the shape of the eyes - narrow, fallen eyelids, distant eyes, approaching eyes, raised and sunken eyes to the perfect shape - almond-shaped eyes. There are many techniques for applying makeup, but it is important to adapt the most appropriate one to each eye shape. With the help of decorative cosmetics, not only can the shape of the eyes be corrected, but makeup also affects psychosocial functions such as self esteem, nonverbal communication (Barel, 2014). According to a study by Robertson, Fieldman & Hussey (2008), makeup has been shown to have a positive effect on a woman’s psychological state, giving them self-confidence that allows them to interact more freely with people and not be complicated because of existing deficiencies. However, negative effects of makeup use have also been observed. Makeup can change a person’s social perception. Because makeup helps to look perfect, women often have a desire to compete, to compete with other women (James, 2018). Research problem: what are the possibilities of eye correction with the help of decorative cosmetics? The object of the research: possibilities of eye correction with the help of decorative cosmetics. The aim of the research: to reveal the possibilities of eye correction with the help of decorative cosmetics. Research tasks: 1. To review eye shapes and decorative cosmetics for eye makeup. 2. Describe eye makeup techniques and their capabilities in eye shape correction. 3. To determine the effect of eye correction options on eye shape changes with the help of decorative cosmetics. Research methodology and subjects: analysis of scientific and professional literature, qualitative research method - experiment. The study involved four women with different eye shapes. Women were selected based on eye shape. 10 Results and conclusion of the study: obvious changes in the shape of the eyes can be seen by taking into account the existing shape of the eyes and applying the right eye make up technique. For the first participant in the study, who had the outer corners of the eyes lowered, the outer corner of the eye appeared visually raised, giving the eyes openness. The second study participant, who has a prominent and round eye shape, was given visual eye length and depth with the help of makeup. For a third study participant with eyes with fallen eyelids, eye makeup gave a more open eye shape and visually concealed eyelid fallout. For the last participant in the study, who has eyes with raised outer corners of the eyes, eye makeup visually reduced the visibility of the rising angle of the eyelid. The results obtained during the study showed that with the help of decorative cosmetics it is possible to visually correct the shape of the eyes.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Makiažas užima svarbu vaidmenį moterų gyvenime. Dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba galima vizualiai galima paslėpti trūkumus ir išryškinti privalumus. Moterys, atlikdamos makiažą, ypatingą dėmesį skirią akims. Akių makiažo pagalba galima vizualiai koreguoti akių formą – siaurus, užkritusius vokus, nutolusias akis, priartėjusias akis, iškilias bei įdubusias akis priartinti prie tobulos formos – migdolo formos akių. Išskiriama daug makiažo atlikimo technikų, tačiau svarbu kiekvienai akių formai pritaikyti tinkamiausią iš jų. Dekoratyvinės kosmetikos priemonių pagalba galima ne tik pakoreguoti akių formą, tačiau makiažas turi įtakos ir psichosocialinėms funkcijoms, tokioms kaip savo išvaizdos vertinimas, neverbalinis bendravimas (Barel, 2014). Pasak Robertson, Fieldman & Hussey (2008), atlikto tyrimo, įrodyta, kad makiažas teigiamai veikia moters psichologinę būseną, suteikdamas joms pasitikėjimo savimi, dėl kurio jos gali laisviau bendrauti su žmonėmis ir nekompleksuoti dėl turimų trūkumų. Tačiau buvo pastebėta ir neigiama makiažo naudojimo įtaka. Makiažas gali pakeisti asmens socialinį suvokimą. Kadangi makiažo pagalba siekiant tobulos išvaizdos, neretai atsiranda moterų noras varžytis, konkuruoti, lygintis su kitomis moterimis (James, 2018). Tyrimo problema: Kokios yra akių korekcijos galimybės dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba? Tyrimo objektas: Akių korekcijos galimybės dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba. Tyrimo tikslas: Atskleisti akių korekcijos galimybės dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apžvelgti akių formas bei dekoratyvinės kosmetikos priemones akių makiažo atlikimui. 2. Aprašyti akių makiažo technikas ir jų galimybes atliekant akių formos korekciją. 3. Nustatyti akių korekcijos galimybių poveikį akių formos pokyčiams dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: Mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė, kokybinio tyrimo metodas – eksperimentas. Atliktame tyrime dalyvavo keturios moterys, turinčios skirtingas akių formas. Moterys buvo pasirenkamos atsižvelgus į akių formą. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: atsižvelgus į esamą akių formą ir pritaikius tinkamą akių makiažo techniką, matomas akivaizdūs akių formos pokyčiai. Pirmajai tyrimo dalyvei, turinčiai akis nuleistais išoriniais akių kampučiais, akies išorinis kampas vizualiai atrodė pakeltas ir tai suteikė akims atvirumo. Antrajai tyrimo dalyvei, kuri turi iškilią ir apvalią akių formą, makiažo pagalba suteiktas vizualus akies ilgumas ir gilumas. Trečiajai tyrimo dalyvei turinčiai akis su užkritusiais vokais, akių makiažas suteikė atviresnę akių formą ir vizualiai paslėpė voko užkritimą. Paskutiniajai tyrimo dalyvei, kuri turi akis su pakeltais išoriniais akių kampučiais, akių makiažas vizualiai sumažino kylančio akių voko kampučio matomumą. Tyrimo metu gauti rezultatai parodė, jog dekoratyvinės kosmetikos pagalba galima vizualiai pakoreguoti akių formą.	en_US
