dc.description Topic relevance. Over the past two decades, the demand for aesthetic procedures has been increasing, which intended to slow down the aging process of the face area (Calabro etc., 2014). Yangming and the others at 2016 noticed that after the discovery of the first pearls, the general knowledge, the possibilities of their use in jewelry, medicine and cosmetics increased. That is why women's interest in expensive stones in cosmetics began to increase, and as a result, the problem of the lack of research and analysis of pearls and their effectiveness in addressing mature skin problems began to rise. Research aim. Evaluate the effect of cosmetics with pearls on the mature facial skin. Tasks: 1. To review the physiological and biochemical changes of the mature facial skin. 2. To reveal the chemical features of cosmetic products with pearls and their effects on mature facial skin. 3. To establish the effect of cosmetics with pearls on the mature facial skin. Research methods. Scientific and professional literature analysis, experiment and statistical analysis of data. Subjects. The study involved five women aged 40-50 years. The selection was targeted. Selection criteria: gender, age, similar level of facial skin aging, the nature of the problems - hyperpigmentation, decreased elasticity and oiliness, dryness, wrinkles, keratinization. Results: During the study, five procedures using Gemology professional cosmetics minerals products with white pearls were performed on each of the five subjects. After the course of the procedure, objective indicators such as moisture, elasticity and oiliness increased, while pigmentation, keratin level and wrinkle parameters decreased. Subjective indicators, such as skin softness, tonus / elasticity, brightness of the skin have improved, and the sense of stretching, skin sensitivity expressed as tingling and itching, roughness, redness, irritation decreased or disappeared. Improvement in moisture levels had a significant effect on the reduction of stretching temptation and skin roughness. Upswing in elasticity levels had an effect on tonus and increased resilience. With the decrease in skin pigmentation of the subjects, the brightness of their skin has increased. Research conclusions: 1. Over time, external and internal factors change many physiological and biochemical processes of the skin, that are responsible for functional features of the melanin of the 5 mature skin, disordered function of fibroblasts, the formation of dynamic and static wrinkles, deterioration of blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, and loss of moisture. These changes are accelerated by the effects of ultraviolet rays and lifestyle. 2. The pearl cosmetic ingredients include pearl powder, which slows down skin aging processes without allowing melanin to synthesize, activating cell activity, neutralizing UV rays and maintaining moisture. The pearl affects the inner and outer skin layer, as the substance joining the nacreous layers resembles skin epidermis and dermis connective tissue. Other ingredients that help to slow down aging processes include antioxidants, moisturizers, brightening ingredients, anti-wrinkle substances and UV filters. 3. After the completing the course of procedures with products from the line of professional Gemology cosmetics with white pearls, it was found that these treatments significantly increased the skin's oiliness and reduced the keratin level. A significant decrease in pigmentation was observed in the evaluation of pigmentation changes before and after the course of procedures. The level of wrinkles after brightening white pearl treatments has slightly decreased. And moisture and elasticity rates have significantly improved. Subjective indicators, such as skin softness, tonus and elasticity, brightness of the skin have improved, and the sense of stretching, skin sensitivity expressed as tingling and itching, roughness, redness, irritation significantly decreased or disappeared. Improvement in moisture levels had a significant effect on the reduction of stretching temptation and skin roughness. Rise in elasticity levels had an effect on tonus and increased resilience. With the decrease in skin pigmentation of the subjects, the brightness of their skin has increased. en
