XXI century business is becoming increasingly complex and involves increasing cooperation relationships so that the company can manage its information flows in order for the company to prosper and be competitive in the market for the human resources it needs. The ability of the human being to communicate, to read the non-verbal body language, to manage emotions helps the business to achieve its goals. The main problem of the thesis. What communication skills do most of all lack in as workers working in a business enterprise? The main objective of the thesis. Having analyzed the competencies of the employee and, apart from the importance of communication competencies, the direction of improving the communication skills of employees in Ireland and Lithuania is presented. Methods of the thesis. Analisis of scientific literature; expert survey; questionnaire; document analysis; graphic representation of the data gathered. The structure. The final bachelor work consists of three parts. Part one discusses the concept and meaning of communication and competence. The second part presents the results of research on competencies of „Nord Roofs“ LTD and UAB „Nord profil“ companies and the third part provides general suggestions for the development of communication competencies. Results of work. The survey conducted by „Nord Roofs“ LTD and UAB „Nord profil“ showed that the employees are well aware of the importance of communication and competencies. When evaluating their communication competencies, employees are distinguished by the fact that they lack the most skills in negotiations communication and reading the non-verbal body language. An expert survey revealed that business is highly valued by teamwork, verbal and written communication, and the fact that, the employer is most responsible for developing the competencies. Thesis recomendations. On the basis of the survey of employees and experts, the following general suggestions were made to develop: the competences of the staff that will be needed in the future; the least-qualified staff competences; to draw up individual competency development plans. The bachelor's final thesis consists of 54 pages, 12 tables, 16 paintings, 38 literature and information resources, 6 extras. en
dc.description.abstract Darbe nagrinėjama darbuotojo bendravimo kompetencijos. Baigiamąjį bakalauro darbą sudaro trys dalys. Pirmoje dalyje aptariama komunikacijos ir kompetencijos samprata bei reikšmė. Antroje dalyje pateikiama „Nord Roofs“ LTD ir UAB „Nord profil“ kompanijose atlikto bendravimo kompetencijų tyrimo rezultatai ir trečioje dalyje pateikiami bendri siūlymai bendravimo kompetencijų ugdymui. Profesinio bakalauro baigiamąjį darbą sudaro 54 puslapiai, 12 lentelių, 16 paveikslų, 38 literatūros ir informacijos šaltiniai, 6 priedai en_US
