| dc.description | The toilet cabinet belongs to the Lithuanian Folk Museum. The cabinet consists of three parts, the lower body is connected to the upper by four turned ash wood columns. The lower body is made of fruit wood, the upper one is made of pine wood, the intermediate table top is made of ash wood. The cabinet also has four legs, two of which are turned square, the back simple square, the legs are made of ash wood. The upper body is crowned by a marble countertop. The cabinet is covered with ash wood veneer, its surface is covered with oily natural resin varnish. The exact time of manufacture of the furniture is not known, however, it is believed that the cabinet was made in the 20th century. In the first half. The catalog of the Folk Museum, which owns the famine under restoration, states that this cabinet was built in 1985. was purchased from a private individual in Kaišiadorys district. The toilet cabinet can be attributed to the eclectic style, as the features of the furniture combine elements of classicism and baroque style. The local wood and the production techniques used by Lithuanian furniture makers of that time suggest that it is a work of a local, unknown carpenter. The object was handed over for conservation and restoration due to its poor condition. The aim of the work is to preserve and restore the toilet cabinet, to restore the aesthetic and exposition image of the object. The toilet cabinet is severely damaged by entomological pests, the wood and legs of the lower body, very crumbly, and there is a lot of damage left by the pests. In places the shell is bounced, cracked, and there are many defects in the shell. The wood of the hull is broken in places, there are missing parts of the wood. The lower body fittings are also missing. The marble countertop has lost its aesthetic appearance. The cabinet cover has changed color unevenly. Parts of the structure are bent, the structure is not stable. In order to achieve the goal of the work, the analysis of theoretical material, object research, conservation and restoration works were performed. Documentation for conservation and restoration of the cabinet has been prepared. After completing the works and returning the aesthetic appearance of the object, it will be returned to the Lithuanian Folk Museum. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tualetinė spintelė priklauso Lietuvos liaudies buities muziejui. Spintelė sudaryta iš trijų dalių, apatinį korpusą su viršutiniu jungia keturios tekintos kolonos išuosio medienos. Apatinis korpusas pagamintas iš vaismedžio, viršutinis – iš pušies medienos, tarpinis stalviršis pagamintas iš uosio medienos. Spintelė taip pat turi keturias kojas, iš kurių dvi priekinės yra tekintos, nugarinės paprastos kvadrato formos, kojos pagamintos iš uosio medienos. Viršutinį korpusą vainikuoja marmurinis stalviršis. Spintelė dengta uosio medienos lukštu, jos paviršius padengtas aliejiniu natūralių dervų laku. Tikslus baldo pagaminimo laikas nėra žinomas, tačiau, manoma, jog spintelė pagaminta XXa. I pusėje. Liaudies buities muziejaus, kuriam priklauso restauruojamas badas, kataloge yra nurodyta, jog ši spintelė 1985m. buvo įsigyta iš privataus asmens Kaišiadorių rajone. Tualetinė spintelė gali būti priskiriama eklektikos stiliui, kadangi baldo bruožai sujungia klasicizmo ir baroko stiliaus elementus. Vietinė mediena bei to laikmečio Lietuvos baldininkų naudotos gamybos technikos leidžia manyti, kad tai yra vietinio, nežinomo baldžiaus kūrinys. Objektas dėl prastos būklės perduotas konservuoti – restauruoti. Darbotikslas – konservuoti ir restauruoti tualetinę spintelę, gražinti objektui estetinį, ekspozicinį vaizdą.Tualetinė spintelė stipriai pažeista entomologinių kenkėjų, apatinio korpuso mediena bei kojos, labia trupa, gausu kenkėjų paliktų pažaidų. Vietomis lukštas atšokęs, nuskilinėjęs, gausu lukšto trūkumų. Korpuso mediena vietomis suskilusi, yra trūkstamų medienos dalių. Taip pat trūksta apatinio korpuso furnitūros. Marmurinis stalviršis praradęs estetinį vaizdą. Spintelės danga netolygiai pakeitusi spalvą. Konstrukcijos dalys išsilenkusios, konstrukcija nėra stabili. Siekiant darbo tikslo, buvo atlikta tiesioginė ir vizuali apžiūra, objekto tyrimai, konservavimo ir restauravimo darbai. Parengta spintelės konservavimo ir restauravimo dokumentacija. Atlikus darbus bei grąžinus objektui estetinę išvaizdą, jis bus grąžintas Lietuvos liaudies buities muziejui. | en_US |
