The company is wasting time and money resources without having an efficient order picking process system used in the warehouse management system. Improvement of the process in the warehouse can significantly increase the speed of order picking, reduce the need for human resources, increase warehouse throughput. The work is relevant for the company, who seeks to improve the operation of the warehouse management system, to increase employee productivity, and reduce costs. The main problem of the (professional BA thesis) - improper warehousing process management has an impact on the quality of the company's processes, financial results and competition. The method of order picking used by the company in comparison with the proposed zonal order picking is ineffective. The aim of the (professional BA thesis) - submit suggestions that can solve the inefficient process of order picking. Objectives of the (professional BA thesis) - UAB "Eoltas" warehouse process management. Methods of the (professional BA thesis) - research literature, analysis, analysis of company documents, monitoring of warehouse processes. The structure – The theoretical part discusses the logistics value, storage, and its benefits. Also, warehouse management processes, systems, methods of selection, location of human resources in the warehouse are discussed. The analytical part contains information about the company, its activities, financial results, ongoing processes, SWOT analysis. Also, the results of the quick and small order selection survey are presented, which calculates the order speed both in the process of the company's current operation and in the manner proposed by the author for the zonal selection. In the third part, the investments required for the zonal sampling method for the implementation of the selection of small and urgent orders are calculated. Also calculated payback. After analyzing the company's data and following an inquiry into the process of selection of urgent and small orders, it was obtained that the author's proposed improvement of the order picking process by installing the zonal picking method would save 106.8 hours of work of a warehouse employee per month and, if translated into monetary form, save 630 euros. The work consists of 52 pages, 13 tables, 23 pictures, 21 references and sources of information, 1 appendices.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame darbe nagrinėjami sandėlių procesų ypatumai, sandėliavimo metodų taikymas UAB „Eoltas“ sandėlyje tiek teoriškai, tiek ir praktiškai. Teorinėje dalyje aptariama logistikos reikšmė, sandėliavimas, jo nauda. Taip pat aptariami sandėlio valdymo procesai, sistemos, atrinkimo būdai, žmogiškųjų išteklių vieta sandėlyje Analitinėje darbo dalyje pateikiama informacija apie įmonę, jos veiklą, finansinius rezultatus, vykdomus procesus, SSGG analizė. Taip pat pateikiami skubių ir smulkių užsakymų atrinkimo tyrimo rezultatai, kuriais skaičiuotas užsakymų greitis tiek dabar įmonėje veikiančiu procesu, tiek autoriaus siūlomu zoniniu atrinkimu būdu. Projektinėje dalyje apskaičiuotos investicijos, reikalingos zoniniam atrinkimo būdui smulkių ir skubių užsakymų atrinkimo procese įdiegti. Taip pat apskaičiuotas atsipirkimas.	en_US
