dc.description	Relevance of the research: Diagnostic wax-up helps the doctor to visualize the available options for optimal results. Properly performed diagnostic wax-up can serve as a means of communication between the doctor, the dental technician, and the patient, illustrating a preliminary treatment plan and providing the opportunity to change it (Simon and Magne, 2018). Despite high prevalence of abnormal occlusions and their significant impact on a person’s quality of life, researchers’ attention on diagnostic wax-up is insufficient. Therefore, it is important to examine the features of diagnostic wax-up according to the Angle’s classes. Problem of the research: what are the features of diagnostic wax-up according to the Angle’s classes? Object of the research: the features of diagnostic wax-up according to the Angle’s classes. Aim of the research: to reveal the features of diagnostic wax-up according to Angle’s classes. Objectives of the research: 1. To describe the features of Angle’s classes. 2. To perform diagnostic wax-up according to Angle’s class. 3. To assess the features of occlusion of performed diagnostic wax-up. Methodology of the research: 1) Scientific and professional literature review; 2) Diagnostic wax-up for intermediate Angle’s class. The main results of the research: Diagnostic wax-up should be performed according to the occlusive contact pattern. As diagnostic wax-up is completed, the models should be removed from the articulator and assembled by hand to ensure that the occlusion is stable. The evaluation of the occlusion features of the performed diagnostic wax-up revealed that the wax-up strategy does not differ case of different Angle’s classes, although the combinations of occlusive contacts are different.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Diagnostinis pavaškavimas padeda gydytojui vizualizuoti turimas galimybes siekiant optimalių rezultatų. Tinkamai atliktas diagnostinis pavaškavimas gali pasitarnauti kaip gydytojo, dantų techniko ir paciento komunikacijos priemonė, iliustruojanti preliminarų gydymo planą ir suteikianti galimybę jį keisti (Simon ir Magne, 2018). Nepaisant didelio netaisyklingų sąkandžių paplitimo bei žymaus poveikio asmens gyvenimo kokybei, mokslininkų dėmesys diagnostiniam pavaškavimui nėra pakankamas. Dėl šios priežasties aktualu tirti diagnostinio pavaškavimo ypatumus, atsižvelgiant į Angle klases. Tyrimo problema: Kokie yra diagnostinio pavaškavimo ypatumai, atsižvelgiant į Angle klases? Tyrimo objektas: Diagnostinio pavaškavimo ypatumai, atsižvelgiant į Angle klases. Tyrimo tikslas: Atskleisti diagnostinio pavaškavimo ypatumus atsižvelgiant į Angle klases. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti Angle klasių ypatumus. 2. Atlikti diagnostinį pavaškavimą atsižvelgiant į Angle klases. 3. Įvertinti atlikto diagnostinio pavaškavimo okliuzijos ypatumus. Tyrimo metodai: 1) Mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros apžvalga; 2) Diagnostinis pavaškavimas tarpinei Angle klasei. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: Diagnostinis pavaškavimas turi būti atliekamas remiantis okliuzinių kontaktų schema. Atlikus diagnostinį pavaškavimą modeliai turi būti išimami iš artikuliatoriaus ir sudedami rankomis taip siekiant įsitikinti, kad okliuzija yra stabili. Įvertinant atlikto diagnostinio pavaškavimo okliuzijos ypatumus paaiškėjo, kad atliekant pavaškavimą skirtingoms Angle klasėms, pavaškavimo strategija nesiskiria, nors okliuzinių kontaktų kombinacijos skirtingos.	en_US
