dc.description	Ieva Prušinskaitė (dental technology study program) has done a graduation thesis “The Impact of Dental Modelling Mistakes on the Stomatognathic System and it‘s functions”. Scientific adviser: Remigijus Raulinavičius. Kaunas College, Faculty of Medicine, Departament of Oral Health, Kaunas, 2022. The relevance of the study: teeth loss or teeth wear is a common occurrence not only in older people but also in the younger population (Zaicaitė, 2018). The loss of teeth has negative effect on the performance of stomatognathic system‘s functions (Šildauskaitė, 2017) and the esthetic view of the face. Trying to prevent the negative effect of the teeth loss or teeth wear, dental prostheses is used. The research made by Dranseikaitė in 2018 revealed that in Lithuania fixed dental restorations are being used more frequently and more frequently. The main reason behind this is that fixed dental prostheses are more aesthetically pleasing and are able to restore the function of mastication more efficiently than removable dental prostheses. Also the teeth wear is chosen to be restorted with direct composite restorations. The fundamental cause of quality of these kind of dental restorations lies in the skills of the dental technician to recreate the anatomical form of the teeth. Because the mistakes of teeth forming may have negative effect on stomatognathic system and it‘s functions (Pileičikeinė, 2008). Problem: what kind of teeth ant occlusion forming mistakes there is and what is the possible impact of these mistakes to the stomatognathic system and it‘s functions? The aim: to disclose the effect of probable teeth and occlusion modelling mistakes on the stomatognathic system and it‘s functions. Work tasks: 1. described the structures of the stomatognathic system, the main functions and the anatomical shapes of the teeth; 2. theoretically validate the negative impact of the teeth and occlusion modelling mistakes on the stomatognathic system and it‘s functions; 3. Correctly, without the mistakes described in the theoretical part, wax-up maxillary and mandibular teeth arches. The object of the work: the application of the understanding of the teeth’s anatomical shape and occlusion to maxillary and mandibular teeth arches wax-up. Method: 1. analysis of scientific and professional literature also theoretically validated the negative impact of the teeth and occlusion modelling mistakes on the stomatognathic system and it‘s functions; 2. correctly, without the mistakes described in the theoretical part, wax-up maxillary and mandibular teeth arches.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Ieva Prušinskaitė (dantų technologijos studijų programos) atliko baigiamąjį darbą tema: „Dantų anatominės formos modeliavimo klaidų įtaka stomatognatinei sistemai bei jos funkcijoms“. Darbo vadovas: dėst. Remigijus Raulinavičius, Kauno kolegija, Medicinos fakultetas, Burnos sveikatos katedra, Kaunas, 2022. Tyrimo aktualumas: dantų netenka ar nusidėvi jų sukandiminis aukštis tiek jauniems žmonės, tiek vyresniems (Zaicaitė, 2018). Dantų netekimas turi neigiamos įtakos kramtymo aparato funkcijų atlikimui (Šidlauskaitė, 2017) ir veido estetiniam vaizdui. Norint išvengti neigiamos netektų dantų įtakos, prarasti dantys ar jų sukandiminis aukštis yra atstatomas dantų protezais. Dranseikaitės 2018 metų tyrimas atskleidė, kad Lietuvoje vis dažniau renkamasi protezuoti fiksuotomis dantų restauracijomis, kurios yra estetiškesnės bei geriau atkuria funkciją. Taip pat nusidėvėjusius dantis renkamasi atstatyti tiesioginėmis kompozicinėmis restauracijomis. Šių protezų kokybei didžiausią įtaką daro dantų techniko meistriškumas, formuojant dantų anatominę formą, nes padarytos dantų modeliavimo klaidos turi neigiamos įtakos ne tik stomatognatinės sistemos atliekamoms funkcijoms, bet ir jos aplinkinėms struktūroms (Pileičikienė, 2008). Tyrimo problema: kokios yra danties anatominės formos ir okliuzinio santykio su antagonistiniais dantimis (sukandimo) modeliavimo klaidos ir jų galima įtaka stomatognatinei sistemai bei jos funkcijoms? Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti galimų dantų anatominės formos bei okliuzinio santykio su antagonistiniais dantimis (sukandimo) modeliavimo klaidų įtaką stomatognatinei sistemai ir jos funkcijoms. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. aprašyti stomatognatinės sistemos struktūrą, pagrindines jos funkcijas bei dantų anatomines formas; 2. teoriškai pagrįsti aprašytų dantų anatominės formos ir sukandimo modeliavimo klaidų neigiamą įtaką stomatognatinės sistemos struktūroms bei funkcijoms; 3. taisyklingai, be teorinėje tyrimo dalyje aprašytų klaidų, sumodeliuoti V/Ž ir A/Ž dantų lankus. Tyrimo objektas: dantų anatominės formos bei okliuzinio santykio su antagonistiniais dantimis (sukandimo) suvokimo pritaikymas atliekant V/Ž ir A/Ž dantų lanku modeliavimą vašku ant gipsinio modelio. Tyrimo metodai: 1. mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė, kuria remiantis buvo analizuota stomatognatinės sistemos struktūra ir dantų anatominės formos bei jų funkcijos. Taip pat teoriškai pagrįstas ryšys tarp dantų anatominės formas modeliavimo klaidų ir jų neigiamos įtakos stomatognatiniai sistemai bei jos funkcijoms; 2. taisyklingas, be teorinėje dalyje aprašytų dantų anatominių formų bei okliuzijos (sukandimo) formavimo klaidų, sumodeliuoti V/Ž ir A/Ž dantų lankai.	en_US
