dc.description	Relevance of the topic: oral health is an integral component of general health, having a direct impact on the general health, mental and social well-being of a person. In recent years, with the continuous development in the field of prosthodontics, the demands in the area of dental aesthetics are increasing. Identification and reproduction of colors are some of the most difficult aspects of aesthetic dentistry. In modern dentistry, treatment with dental implants is becoming increasingly common. One of the most popular restoration materials is zirconium oxide. Therefore, this paper will focus on justifying the importance of aesthetics in restorative dentistry, which will allow to discuss the most important aspects of tooth color restoration in dental laboratory by using zirconium oxide for the production of restorations. Research question. What are the advantages and disadvantages of zirconia in restoration of tooth color? Research object. Milled full contoured zirconia crowns. The goal of the study is to reveal the reliability of dental zirconia blanks from different manufacturers used to restore tooth color. Research objectives: 1. To highlight the advantages and disadvantages of zirconium oxide and to describe its aesthetic properties. 2. To analyze the methods used most commonly to determine tooth color, the restoration of tooth color in the laboratory. Research methods: 1. Analysis of scientific and professional literature. 2. Production of dental prostheses. Results of an empirical study: reliability of dental zirconia blanks from different manufacturers used to restore tooth color is low. The most commonly used methods to determine the color of teeth is visual assessment of tooth color compared to color keys and digital shade-matching devices, such as spectrophotometers showed color differences that did not comply with the manufacturer's regulated instructions. By restoring tooth color in the laboratory and applying these techniques separately, the data can be relatively accurate. When a combination of several color matching methods, both visual and instrumental, are used, the data obtained are more objective, detailed, and quantifying in terms of color values	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: sveiki dantys yra neatsiejamas bendrosios sveikatos komponentas, tiesiogiai veikiantis bendrą žmogaus sveikatą, jo psichinę bei socialinę gerovę. Pastaraisiais metais nuolat tobulėjant dantų protezavimo sferai, keliami vis didesni reikalavimai dantų estetikos srityje. Vienas iš sudėtingiausių estetinės odontologijos aspektų yra spalvų įvertinimas ir jų atkūrimas. Šiuolaikinėje odontologijoje vis dažniau pasirenkamas gydymas dantų implantais, o viena iš paklausiausių restauracinių medžiagų – cirkonio oksidas. Taigi šiame darbe pagrįsdama estetikos svarbą restauracinėje odontologijoje, bandysiu aptarti svarbiausius aspektus atkuriant dantų spalvą laboratorijoje, gamyboje panaudojant cirkonio oksido medžiagą. Tyrimo problema. Kokie cirkonio oksido privalumai ir trūkumai atkuriant dantų spalvą? Tyrimo objektas: frezuoti pilno kontūro cirkonio oksido vainikėliai. Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti skirtingų gamintojų cirkonio oksido ruošinių patikimumą atkuriant dantų spalvą. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Išskirti cirkonio oksido medžiagos privalumus ir trūkumus bei aprašyti jos estetines savybes. 2. Išanalizuoti dažniausiai naudojamas dantų spalvos nustatymo metodikas, dantų spalvos atkūrimą laboratorijoje. Tyrimo metodai: 1. Mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė 2. Dantų protezų gamyba. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: tirtų cirkonio oksido ruošinių patikimumas atkuriant dantų spalvą – žemas. Pritaikius dažniausiai naudojamas dantų nustatymo metodikas – vizualinį būdą, naudojant spalvų raktą bei elektroninį spalvų nustatymo prietaisą – spektrofotometrą, pastebėti spalviniai skirtumai, neatitinkantys reglamentuotų gamintojų nurodymų. Atkuriant dantų spalvą laboratorijoje ir pritaikant šias metodikas atskirai, duomenys gali būti sąlyginai tikslūs. Panaudojus kelių spalvos nustatymo būdų kombinaciją – tiek vizualinę, tiek instrumentinę - gauti duomenys yra objektyvesni, išsamesni, kiekybiškai nurodantys spalvų reikšmes.	en_US
