dc.description	Relevance: the main properties required of metal-free ceramics are biocompatibility and aesthetics, which can be applied to mimic the colour, clarity and natural fluorescence of teeth, and in recent years the rapid development of both material properties and manufacturing techniques in the field of metal-free ceramics has led to the introduction of a new material - lithium disilicate glass ceramic - that fulfils all of these needs and has a wide range of applications. Problem of the research: What are the potential applications of lithium disilicate on anterior teeth? Object of the research: The potential applications of lithium disilicate on anterior teeth. Aim of the research - to investigate possibilities of using lithium disilicate on anterior teeth. Research tasks: 1. To reveal the principles of anterior dental aesthetics. 2. To identify aesthetic and mechanical properties of lithium disilicate 3. To describe the technology and application of lithium disilicate restorations on anterior teeth. 4. Evaluate the aesthetic qualities of fabricated lithium disilicate restorations on anterior teeth. Research methods: 1. Analysis of scientific and professional literature. 2. Production of lithium disilicate restorations on anterior teeth. Results of empirical study: The practical part of the study presents the clinical situation and one of the fabrication techniques of three maxillary anterior teeth (12, 21 and 22 single crowns), using the IPS e.max Press system. The color of the monolithic lithium disilicate crowns produced did not differ from the patient's teeth in the oral cavity, but lacked clarity at the incisal margin.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Pagrindinės savybės, kurių reikalaujama iš bemetalės keramikos yra biologinis suderinamumas bei estetika, kurią galima pritaikyti imituojant spalvą, skaidrumą ir natūralią dantų fluorescenciją, o per pastaruosius metus bemetalės keramikos sričiai sparčiai tobulinant tiek medžiagos savybes, tiek gamybos būdus, pradėta naudoti nauja medžiaga – ličio disilikato stiklo keramika, tenkinanti visus šiuos poreikius bei turinti platų panaudojimo spektrą. Tyrimo problema: Kokios yra ličio disilikato panaudojimo galimybės priekinių dantų srityje? Tyrimo objektas: ličio disilikato panaudojimo galimybės priekinių dantų srityje. Tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti ličio disilikato panaudojimo galimybes priekinių dantų srityje. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Atskleisti priekinių dantų estetikos principus. 2. Išskirti ličio disilikato estetines ir mechanines savybes. 3. Aprašyti dantų restauracijų iš ličio disilikato gamybos technologiją ir panaudojimą priekinėje dantų srityje. 4. Įvertinti pagamintų ličio disilikato restauracijų priekinių dantų srityje estetines savybes. Tyrimo metodai: 1. Mokslinių straipsnių ir profesinės literatūros analizė. 2. Vainikėlių iš ličio disilikato gamyba priekinėje dantų srityje. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: Praktinėje dalyje pateikiama klinikinė situacija ir viršutinio žandikaulio trijų priekinių dantų, t.y. 12, 21 ir 22 pavienių vainikėlių viena iš gamybos technologijų, naudojant „IPS e.max Press“ sistemą. Pagamintų monolitinių ličio disilikato vainikėlių spalva nesiskyrė nuo paciento burnos ertmėje esančių dantų, tačiau trūko skaidrumo kandamajame krašte.	en_US
