dc.description	The relevance of subject. The health status of dental technology professionals depends on physical, manual, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial work factors (General Guidelines for Occupational Risk Assessment, 2012). The author considers this study to be a relevant dental technique to assess the risks that these special offices may face in their work environment. Research problem. What are the coherence between the working conditions of dental technicians in laboratories and the risk of occupational diseases? Object of research. Coherence between working conditions in laboratories for dental technicians and the risk of occupational diseases. The aim of the research. To determine the coherence between the working conditions of dental technology specialists in laboratories and the risk of occupational diseases. Research tasks: 1. Identify the requirements of hygiene norms for the workplace of a dental technology specialist. 2. Describe the possible health problems of dental technology specialists related to work in laboratories. 3. To determine the working conditions of dental technology specialists working in laboratories. 4. To reveal the health complaints of dental technology specialists working in Lithuanian laboratories. Research methodology and subjects. An analysis of the scientific literature was performed. Empirical data collection method used: online survey. Data from the empirical study were collected from February 20, 2022 to April 22, 2022. The survey involved 224 dental technology professionals. The obtained data were organized and processed in Microsoft Office Excel program. Research results. The results of the study revealed that working in dental technology laboratories is at risk of health problems associated with visual impairment, allergic contact dermatitis, and musculoskeletal disorders. Most dental technicians are happy with their job. The main personal protective equipment is gloves, hand sanitizer and bathrobe, but only half of the respondents disinfect dental prints and dentures obtained from the clinic.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas. Dantų technologijos specialistų sveikatos būklė priklauso nuo fizikinių, fizinių, cheminių, biologinių, ergonominių ir psichosocialinių darbo veiksnių (Profesinės rizikos vertinimo bendrieji nuostatai, 2012). Autorius mano, kad šis tyrimas yra aktualus dantų technikams, jog būtų galima įvertinti su kokia rizika gali susidurti šios specialybės atstovai savo darbinėje aplinkoje. Tyrimo problema. Kokios sąsajos tarp dantų technologijos specialistų darbo sąlygų laboratorijose ir profesinių ligų atsiradimo rizikos? Tyrimo objektas. Sąsajos tarp dantų technologijos specialistų darbo sąlygų laboratorijose ir profesinių ligų atsiradimo rizikos. Tyrimo tikslas. Nustatyti dantų technologijos specialistų darbo sąlygų laboratorijose sąsajas su profesinių ligų atsiradimo rizika. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Išskirti kokie yra higienos normų reikalavimai dantų technologijos specialisto darbo vietai. 2. Aprašyti dantų technologijos specialistų galimus sveikatos sutrikimus, susijusius su darbu laboratorijose. 3. Nustatyti kokiomis darbo sąlygomis dantų technologijos specialistai dirba laboratorijose. 4. Atskleisti dantų technologijos specialistų, dirbančių Lietuvos laboratorijose, sveikatos nusiskundimus. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji. Atlikta mokslinės literatūras analizė. Taikytas empirinių duomenų rinkimo metodas: internetinė apklausa. Empirinio tyrimo duomenys buvo renkami nuo 2022 metų vasario 20 dienos iki 2022 metų balandžio 22 dienos. Apklausoje dalyvavo 224 dantų technologijos specialistai. Tyrimo rezultatai. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, kad dirbant dantų technologijos laboratorijose kyla rizika turėti sveikatos sutrikimų susijusių su regos susilpnėjimu, alerginiu kontaktiniu dermatitu, bei raumenų ir kaulų sistemos pažeidimais. Didžioji dalis dantų technikų yra patenkinti savo darbo vieta. Pagrindinės asmens apsaugos priemonės yra pirštinės, rankų dezinfekcinis skystis ir chalatas, tačiau tik pusė respondentų dezinfekuoja gautus iš klinikos dantų atspaudus ir protezus.	en_US
