Santrauka:
Pagal PSO atliktus tyrimus, klausos negalią turinčių asmenų skaičius kiekvienais metai vis didėja. Asmenys turintys klausos sutrikimų susiduria su stigmatizuojančia visuome, kuri nemato tokio asmens kaip pilnaverčio visuomenės nario. Dėl šių įsitikinimų, asmenys turintys klausos sutrikimų tampa visuomenės atskirtieji. Reabilitacijos centre pagrindinį darbą atlieka socialinis darbuotojas, kuris užtikrina visakeriopą paslaugos teikimą. Socialinis darbuotojas dirbdamas su klausos negalia turinčiais asmenimis atlieka įvairias funkcijas, kad užtikrintų paslaugų kokybę, sprendžiamų problemų aktualumą bei pritaikyti kiekvienai problemai tinkamiausią sprendimo būdą pagal kliento galimybes. Dirbdamas tokioje srityje, socialinis darbuotojas, turėtų nuolat tobulinti savo profesines žinias, kad galėtų užtikrinti tinkamą paslaugų teikimą klausos negalią turintiems asmenims
