| dc.description | Recently, the country and the whole world have been hit by the Covid - 19 pandemic, and public wounds have become more apparent. The growing controversy over the ratification of the Istanbul Convention overshadows the real problem. Although, according to the Department of Statistics, domestic violence is decreasing compared to the previous year and 2019, the growing number of homicides is worrying. Most crimes of this nature take place in the close environment. Even 80 percent women are victims of domestic violence, 70,5 percent of them suffered from an intimate partner (Department of Statistics, 2020). | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Pastaruoju metu šalį ir visą pasaulį kaustant Covid – 19 pandemijai, išryškėjo visuomenės žaizdos. Kylantys nesutarimai dėl Stambulo konvencijos ratifikavimo užgožia tikrąją problemą. Nors, lyginant praėjusius metus su 2019 metais, Statistikos departamento duomenimis smurtas artimoje aplinkoje mažėja, tačiau augantys nužudymo skaičiai verčia sunerimti. Didžioji dalis tokio pobūdžio nusikaltimų įvyksta artimoje aplinkoje. Net 80 proc. nukentėjusių nuo smurto artimoje aplinkoje – moterys, iš jų 70,5 proc. nukentėjo nuo intymaus partnerio (Lietuvos statistikos departamentas, 2020). | en_US |
