dc.description	Relevance of the study: Incidence of limb fractures is on the rise worldwide, and this calls for attention to be paid to the problems experienced by patients in the postoperative period and to identify the nursing care needs in the postoperative period. Problem of the study: What are the nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the limbs during the post-operative period? Object of the study: The nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the lower limbs during the post-operative period. Tyrimo objektas: Elderly and old patients with fractures of the limbs, care needs in the postoperative period. Purpose of the study: To assess the nursing needs of the elderly and old patients who suffered bone fractures of the limbs during the post-operative period. Tasks of the study: 1. To assess the causes of limb fractures of elderly and old patients. 2. To reveal the problems that have occurred in elderly and old patients after limb fractures. 3. To identify the basic care needs of elderly and old patients who have experienced bone fractures in the limbs. Method of the study: The study has been carried out in X hospital of Kaunas city, in Orthopedics and Traumatology Departments. The following theoretical and empirical research methods are used to achieve the goal and implement the planned tasks: analysis of scientific literature, written survey, descriptive statistical data analysis. Quantitative research method for the study of nursing needs of patients after fractures of the extremities - anonymous survey. 50 respondents have been surveyed during the study, 64 % (n=32) were women and 36% (n=18) were men who had had a fracture of the limb. Results of the study: The data obtained show that patients suffer from frequent pain in the postoperative period in 37% of cases. (n = 19) respondents. A large part of the respondents in the postoperative period suffered from sleep disorders, defecation problems, and movement restrictions. Therefore, in the postoperative period, it is necessary to closely monitor the operated patients in order to identify nursing problems in a timely manner and to plan nursing actions.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Tyrimo aktualumas: Vis daugiau pasaulyje užregistruojama galūnių kaulų lūžių įvykiai ir tai skatina atkreipti dėmesį į pacientų patiriamas problemas pooperaciniu laikotarpiu bei nustatyti iš jų kylančius slaugos poreikius pooperaciniu laikotarpiu. Tyrimo problema: Kokie yra pagyvenusių ir senų pacientų, patyrusių galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikiai pooperaciniu laikotarpiu? Tyrimo objektas: pagyvenę ir seni pacientai, patyrę galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikiai pooperaciniu laikotarpiu. Tyrimo tikslas: Įvertinti pagyvenusių ir senų pacientų, patyrusių galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikius pooperaciniu laikotarpiu. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Įvertinti priežastis, turinčias įtakos galūnių kaulų lūžiams pagyvenusiems ir seniems pacientams. 2. Atskleisti problemas, atsiradusias pagyvenusiems ir seniems pacientams po galūnių kaulų lūžių. 3. Nustatyti pagyvenusių ir senų pacientų pagrindinius slaugos poreikius, patyrusių galūnių kaulų lūžius. Tyrimo metodai: Tyrimas atliktas Kauno miesto X ligoninėje ortopedijos ir traumatologijos skyriuose. Darbe iškeltam tikslui pasiekti ir numatytiems uždaviniams įgyvendinti naudojami šie teoriniai ir empiriniai tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, apklausa raštu, aprašomoji statistinė duomenų analizė. Slaugos poreikių ligoniams po galūnių kaulų lūžių operacijos tyrimui taikomas kiekybinis tyrimo metodas – anoniminė apklausa. Apklausta 50 respondentų iš jų moterys 64 % (n = 32), bei vyrai 36 % (n = 18), kuriems buvo atlikta galūnių kaulų lūžių operacija. Tyrimo rezultatai: Gauti duomenys parodė, kad pacientus pooperaciniu laikotarpiu vargina dažnas skausmas 37 proc. (n=19) apklaustųjų. Didelę dalį respondentų pooperaciniu laikotarpiu vargina miego sutrikimai, tuštinimosi problemos, judėjimo apribojimai. Todėl, pooperaciniame laikotarpyje būtina nuolat atidžiai stebėti išoperuotus pacientus tam, kad būtų laiku nustatytos slaugos problemos ir numatyti slaugos veiksmai.	en_US
