dc.description	Relevance of the topic. While working with social risk families, social workers encounter problems in their work while trying to help these families, they often experience risk at work, which manifests itself such as social risk family members aggression or mischief. This further complicates the provision of social services (Stremauskienė and Žibėnienė, 2014; Augutienė and others 2010). Stasiūnaitienė and Mažeikaitė (2015) states that social work with social risk families is complicated and requires great emotional investment. Social workers often face problems that put their mental and physical health at risk. This work deals with the problems encountered by social workers when working with social risk families. Topic is relevant that social workers face a variety of problems with social risk families that complicate the provision of social services and prevent them from performing their work more effectively in order to provide the necessary family support. Also, in scientific literature and articles and articles there is so much information what problems social workers face while working with social risk families. Aim of the work. Identify social workers experienced problems while working with social risk families. Research tasks: 1. Outline social risk families’ characteristics. 2. Outline social worker’s activity with social risk families. 3. Reveal social worker’s problems while working with social risk families. Research methods. Scientific literature analysis, half way structured interview, qualitative research. Work object. Social workers experienced problems while working with social risk families. Research findings. Research results showed that social workers working with social risk families experience various problems, which makes social services provision more difficult. Research participants affirmed that they face too big of a work load by taking on too many families at once. Social workers often get called after hours which takes away a great deal of personal time too, including holidays and weekends. Participants in the study also revealed that families often hesitate to provide personal information about themselves or family members. This causes the social worker to not get all of the information or aids in generating the wrong solution for the issues they may be facing. These families often lack the motivation necessary to change their old lifestyle. Participants also cited the psychological affects of their clients that they face at home. They give examples of making fun of them, threatening remarks or manipulation to get what they want. Although they face the psychological effects, they rarely face any kind of physical abuse. Many institutions are secretive with the information that their employees gather on families. When analyzing an interview with social workers, it has become apparent that they often have to deal with the reluctance of agencies to cooperate or provide information about clients.	en
dc.description.abstract	Dirbdami su socialinės rizikos šeimomis, socialiniai darbuotojai savo darbe susiduria su problemomis teikdami pagalbą šioms šeimoms, dažnai patiria riziką darbe, kuri pasireiškia socialinės rizikos šeimos narių agresija ar pasipriešinimu, o tai apsunkina socialinių paslaugų teikimą. (Stremauskienė ir Žibėnienė, 2014; Augutienė ir kt. 2010) Stasiūnaitienė ir Mažeikaitė (2015) teigia, kad socialinis darbas su socialinės rizikos šeimomis yra sudėtingas ir reikalaujantis didžiulės emocinės investicijos. Socialiniai darbuotojai dažnai susiduria su problemomis, kurios kelia grėsmę psichologiniam ir fiziniam jų saugumui. Šiame darbe nagrinėjama socialinių darbuotojų patiriamos problemos dirbant su socialinės rizikos šeimomis. Tema aktuali tuo, kad socialiniai darbuotojai dirbdami su socialinės rizikos šeimomis susiduria su įvairiomis problemomis, kurios apsunkina socialinių paslaugų teikimą ir trukdo efektyviau atlikti savo darbą siekiant užtikrinti reikiamą pagalbą šeimai. Taip pat mokslinėje literatūroje ir straipsniuose yra mažai informacijos ar atliktų tyrimų su kokiomis problemomis susiduria socialiniai darbuotojai dirbdami su socialinės rizikos šeimomis.	en_US
