dc.description	The relevance of the topic. The theme of the final thesis is very relevant in contemporary society, as young people are increasingly interested in innovation. It is perfectly understandable that a person in a child's educational process is a social worker whose functions are defined very widely. The work of a social worker in the Children's Day center occupies almost the largest part in which a wide range of creative methods is applied. Creative methods applied at the Children's Day center have a significant influence on the child's development and the development of personal skills. The current society needs creative personalities The main purpose of the research is to determine the activities of a social worker, working in a children's day center using creative methods. Research methods and purpose of use - analysis of scientific literature, generalization. Qualitative research method using semi-structured interview. In the interview, specific questions were provided and the sequence of their presentation. The data was processed by a content analysis method. The research participants are three specialists who are social workers and are currently working with children who attend the Children's Day Center. Research results and conclusions During the research it was determined that a social worker performs many different functions at work at the children's day center: organizes activities, communicates not only with children, but also with various institutions, and works as educator and listener. Social work in the children's day center is associated with creative methods that have a significant influence on the child's development, growth, self-awareness and self-knowledge. Social workers confirmed that it is very important to develop the specialist himself, as children in the modern society are very demanding and want new impressions. The research participants argued that it is very important to be interested in innovations of creative methods because of that work becomes more efficient and productive. It was emphasized that there is a particular lack of young and motivated professionals who would like to work on social work.	en
dc.description.abstract	Pasirinkta baigiamojo darbo tema yra labai aktuali šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje, kadangi jaunimas vis labiau domisi naujovėmis. Visi puikiai suprantame, kad vaiko ugdymo procese neatsiejamas asmuo yra socialinis darbuotojas, kurio funkcijos yra apibrėžiamos labai plačiai. Socialinio darbuotojo darbas vaikų dienos centre užima, kone didžiausią dalį, kurio metu yra taikomi įvairiausi kūrybiniai metodai. Vaikų dienos centre taikomi kūrybiniai metodai daro didelę įtaką vaiko tobulėjimui ir asmeninių įgūdžių ugdymui. Dabartinei visuomenei reikalingos kūrybingos asmenybės.	en_US
