dc.description	The relevance of the paper is the use of neologisms in any kind of fiction. The paper is relevant to fantasy literature writers and philology students who might find practical information on the use of neologisms practical and beneficial. The subject matter of the research is the types of neologisms that are used in fantasy books. The problem question is what type of neologisms are used and the aim of the research is to find out what kind of neologisms are used in fantasy literature. The objectives are to define the phenomenon of neologisms, their origin, and types, to identify neologism in text, and to analyze those that are found. The methods used include: 1) the analysis of theoretical references; 2) the descriptive comparative linguistic analysis. The paper consists of two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part gives a review of the types of neologisms, their formation, and a brief introduction to the book and author on which this paper is based. Having analyzed the arguments found in the theoretical works of Algeo (1991), Crystal (2011), and Sayadi (2018) the practical linguistic analysis was performed. Despite the fact that most of the authors classify neologisms differently, they all agree that neologisms can be grouped into 12 types. The results of the linguistic study reveal that the most common type of neologism in the J. K. Rowling book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is created. These neologisms gave the book more color and originality, helped to make the magic world feel more real.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas yra naujadarų naudojimas bet kokioje grožinėje literatūroje. Darbas yra aktualus fantastinės literatūros rašytojams ir filologijos studentams, kuriems ši informacija, apie naujadarų naudojimą gali būti naudinga ir praktiška. Darbo objektas yra naujadarų tipai, naudojami fantastinėje literatūroje. Pagrindinė šio darbo problema – kokie naujadarų tipai yra labiausiai naudojami, o šio darbo pagrindinis tikslas yra rasti kurie naujadarų tipai yra plačiausiai naudojami fantastinėje literatūroje. Darbo uždaviniai yra apibrėžti naujadarų reiškinį, jų kilmę bei tipus, identifikuoti naujadarus tekste ir išanalizuoti tuos, kurie randami. Darbo metodai: 1) teorinės medžiagos analizė; 2) lingvistinė analizė, pagrįsta aprašymu bei palyginimu. Darbas susideda iš dviejų pagrindinių dalių: teorinės ir praktinės. Teorinėje dalyje aptariami naujadarų tipai, jų susidarymas ir trumpa santrauka apie knygą ir jos autorę. Apibendrinus teorinius teiginius, atlikta lingvistinė analizė pagal Algeo (1991), Crystal (2011) ir Sayadi (2018) darbus. Visi autoriai vieningai sutiko, kad naujadarai gali būti sugrupuoti į 12 tipo, net kai ir dauguma autorių klasifikuoja naujadarus skirtingai. Remiantis lingvistinės analizės rezultatais, galima teigti, kad labiausiai naudojamas naujadarų tipas J. K. Rowling knygoje Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them yra sukurti/išgalvoti naujadarai. Šie naujadarai suteikė knygai spalvų ir originalumo, padėjo paaštrinti magijos pasaulio pojūtį.	en_US
