dc.description	Relevance of the topic: Research shows that caring for a sick close person is a heavy burden for those who care for him or her. As a result, family members are often referred to as „secret victims of Alzheimer's disease“. Caregivers face not only high physical activity, but also high emotional stress, as a result of which the nurse's physical and mental health deteriorates and social problems arise (Jankūnaitė and Užaitė, 2011). Deterioration of the caregiver's well-being threatens not only the quality of care (tension between the caregiver and the caregiver, the threat of institutionalization), but also the quality of life of the caregiver, and even the risk of death (Lethin et al., 2018). All of this suggests that the difficulties and needs of loved ones caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s disease are still a pressing research issue. The aim of the study: To reveal the nursing problems that arise in the care of relatives of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Objectives of the research: Describe the concept of Alzheimer's disease and the peculiarities of nursing. Identify the experience of relatives caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease. To reveal the solutions of nursing problems applied by relatives according to the stages of Alzheimer's disease. Object of research: Nursing problems of Alzheimer disease patients from their relatives' perspective. Research methodology: Qualitative research was performed using the method of interview data content analysis. The study was conducted in 2020. November 4 – 2020 November 30. Main results of empirical research were obtained by participating in study 8 informants.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Tyrimai rodo, kad sergančio artimo asmens slaugymas yra sunki našta juo besirūpinantiems asmenims. Todėl šeimos nariai neretai dar vadinami „slaptosiomis Alzheimerio ligos aukomis“. Globėjams tenka ne tik didelis fizinis krūvis, bet ir didelė emocinė įtampa, kurios pasekoje blogėja paties slaugytojo fizinė bei psichinė sveikata, kyla socialinių problemų (Jankūnaitė ir Užaitė, 2011). Pablogėjus globėjo savijautai kyla grėsmė ne tik globos kokybei (kyla įtampa tarp globojamojo ir globėjo, kyla institualizacijos grėsmė), bet ir globėjo gyvenimo kokybei, galima net ir mirties rizika (Lethin et al., 2018). Visa tai rodo, kad artimųjų, globojančių Alzheimerio liga sergantį šeimos narį, patiriami sunkumai bei poreikiai vis dar yra aktuali mokslinių tyrimų problema. Tyrimo tikslas: Atskleisti slaugos problemas, kurios kyla artimiesiems slaugant Alzheimerio liga sergančius pacientus. Tyrimo uždaviniai: Aprašyti Alzheimerio ligos sampratą ir sergančių asmenų slaugos ypatumus. Nustatyti artimųjų, slaugančių Alzheimerio liga sergantį asmenį, patirtis. Atskleisti artimųjų taikomus slaugos problemų sprendimo būdus pagal Alzheimerio ligos stadijas. Tyrimo objektas: Alzheimerio liga sergančių pacientų slaugos problemos artimųjų požiūriu. Tyrimo metodika: Atliktas kokybinis tyrimas interviu duomenų turinio analizės metodu. Tyrimas buvo vykdomas 2020 m. lapkričio 4 d. - 2020 m. lapkričio 30 d. Empyrinio tyrimo rezultatai gauti dalyvavaujant tyrime 8 informantams.	en_US
