dc.description	Relevance of the work. When a patient is intubated with an intubation tube in their trachea, it is observed that there is a change in their needs that are monitored in their vital breathing activity; all vital activity extremely changes. Especially, in the areas of comunication, personal hygiene and movement. According to the literature, the biggest change is observed in such patients’ comunicative abilities. This topic is becoming more relative due to the outbreak of Covid-19 virus pandemic and the growing number of intubated patients. The aim. To evaluate the work of nurses, which helps to ensure the needs of an intubated patient. Research objectives: 1. To define the changes in the needs of an intubated patient. 2. To define the work of nurses that ensures the needs of an intubated patient. 3. To ensures the work of nurses that determine the needs of an intubated patient. Empirical research methodology. The methods of the research: Time duration of the research: from 2020-11-08 to 2020-11-26. The place of the research: X city’s hospital: Department of Intensive Care of Anaesthesiology. Study conclusions. The data of the reasearch showed that nurses ensure the bigger part of patients’ needs often or always. Rarely: nurses ask the patient to write information down on a piece of paper, measure the pressure in the intubation tube’s cuff, weigh the patient, use bedpans. Ambiguous answers were recorded in evaluating the actions of nurses in such activities as: passive exercise with the help of other specialists, using anti - bedsore mattresses, the ensuring of patients’ privacy, the evaluation of pain, turning off unnecessary devices during nightime.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Darbo aktualumas. Pacientui esant su intubacijos vamzdeliu trachėjoje, pakinta jo poreikiai, o kartu ir gyvybinės veiklos. Pokyčiai stebimi bendravimo, judėjimo, asmens higienos, komforto, paciento saugumo ir saugios aplinkos, maitinimosi ir kitose gyvybinėse veiklose. Ši tema darosi kasdien vis aktualesne didėjant Covid – 19 viruso pandemijos mąstams, o su ja ir intubuotų pacientų skaičiui visame pasaulyje. Tyrimo tikslas. Nustatyti slaugytojo veiklą, kuri padeda užtikrinti intubuoto paciento poreikius. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apibūdinti intubuoto paciento slaugos problemas 2. Apibrėžti slaugytojų veiklą užtikrinant intubuoto paciento poreikius. 3. Nustatyti slaugytojų veiklą užtikrinant intubuoto paciento poreikius. Tyrimo metodika. Tyrimo vykdymo laikas: Nuo 2020-11-08 iki 2020-11-26. Tyrimo atlikimo vieta. X miesto ligoninė: Anesteziologijos ir intensyvios terapijos skyrius. Tyrimo instrumentas: Tyrėjos sukurta anketa, kurią sudaro 4 socialdemografiniai klausimai ir 12 su gyvybinių veiklų užtikrinimu susiję klausimai. Tyrimo išvados. Tyrimo duomenys parodė, kad slaugytojos didžiąją dalį paciento poreikių užtikrina visada arba dažnai. Slaugytojai retai: prašo paciento parašyti informaciją ant lapo, matuoja intubacinio vamzdelio slėgį manžetėje, sveria pacientą, naudoja basonus. Nevienareikšmiški atsakymai buvo vertinant tokias slaugytojų veiklas kaip pasyvios mankštos atlikimas su kitų specialistų pagalba, antipragulinių čiužinių naudojimas, asmens privatumo užtikrinimas, skausmo vertinimas, nereikalingų prietaisų išjungimas naktį.	en_US
