Relevance of the topic. Most authors in the scientific literature provide evidence that the use of vitamin C has an effect on restoring and maintaining the anatomical structure and physiological processes of the skin, and is therefore important for the health and aesthetic appearance of the skin. Due to its strong positive effects on the skin, vitamin C is widely used in the practice of cosmetologists. However, professionals are not always aware of the physical and chemical circumstances of vitamin C therapy. Problem of the study. What is the knowledge of beauticians about the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice? beau Object of the study. Beauticians' knowledge of the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice. The purpose of the study. To reveal the knowledge of beauticians about the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice. The objectives of the study: 1. Describe the effects of vitamin C on the skin. 2. Describe the application of vitamin C in cosmetology. 3. To compare the knowledge of beauticians about the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice with their education and work experience. Methodology and subjects of the study: analysis and quantitative research of the scientific literature was performed. A written survey was chosen as the research tool, and the questionnaire was submitted online. The study involved 50 beauticians. The questionnaire consisted of 19 questions aimed at revealing the knowledge of cosmetologists about the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice. Microsoft Office Exel program and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 17.0.0 package were used for systematization, analysis and comparison of the obtained data. Results and conclusions of the study: according to the research, vitamin C is often used in the practice of beauticians. However, professionals due to lack of knowledge, do not use its full potential in improving and maintaining skin health. Comparing the knowledge of beauticians about the effects of vitamin C on the skin and its application in practice with their 8 education and work experience, it turned out that the best knowledge about the effects of vitamin C on the skin has beauticians with higher education and less than 5 years of experience. The potential of vitamin C is best used in their practice by beauticians with higher education and 5 or more years of work experience.	en_US

Dauguma mokslinės literatūros autorių pateikia įrodymus, kad vitamino C naudojimas turi įtakos atkuriant ir palaikant odos anatominę struktūrą ir fiziologinius procesus, todėl yra reikšmingas odos sveikatai ir estetinei jos išvaizdai. Dėl savo stipriai išreikšto teigiamo poveikio odai, vitaminas C yra plačiai naudojamas kosmetologų praktikoje. Tačiau specialistai ne visada žino fizines ir chemines aplinkybes, taikant vitamino C terapiją. Tyrimo problema. Kokios yra kosmetologų žinios apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje? Tyrimo objektas. Kosmetologų žinios apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje. Tyrimo tikslas. Atskleisti kosmetologų žinias apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti vitamino C poveikį odai. 2. Aprašyti vitamino C taikymą kosmetologijoje. 3. Palyginti kosmetologų žinias apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje su jų išsilavinimu ir darbo patirtimi. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė ir kiekybinis tyrimas. Tyrimo instrumentu pasirinkta apklausa raštu, anketa buvo pateikta internetinėje erdvėje. Tyrime dalyvavo 50 kosmetologų. Anketą sudarė 19 klausimų, kuriais buvo siekiama atskleisti kosmetologų žinias apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje. Gautų duomenų sisteminimui, analizei ir palyginimui buvo naudota Microsoft Office Exel programa ir SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 17.0.0 paketas. Tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados: tyrimo duomenimis, vitaminas C yra dažnai naudojamas kosmetologų praktikoje. Tačiau specialistai, dėl žinių trūkumo, išnaudoja ne visą jo potencialą gerinant ir palaikant odos sveikatą. Palyginus kosmetologų žinias apie vitamino C poveikį odai ir taikymą praktikoje su jų išsilavinimu ir darbo patirtimi paaiškėjo, kad geriausias žinias apie vitamino C poveikį odai turi aukštąjį išsilavinimą ir mažesnę nei 5 metai darbo patirtį turintys kosmetologai. Geriausiai vitamino C potencialą savo praktikoje išnaudoja aukštąjį išsilavinimą bei 5 ir daugiau metų darbo patirtį turintys kosmetologai.	en_US
