dc.description	Relevance of the topic. Peptide beauty products are one of the latest achievements of worldrenowned scientists in the field of dermatology. According to them, such components have been known and used in medicine for more than thirty years, their effectiveness is surpassed by one of the most popular substances in cosmetics: elastin, collagen, keratin. Investigation problem. Cosmetologists' knowledge about peptides and their effects on the skin. Research object. What is cosmetologists' knowledge about peptides and their effects on the skin. The aim. Reveal the knowledge of cosmetologists about peptides and their effects on the skin. Research tasks: 1. Describe bioactive substances in the skin. 2. Discuss the peptides used in skin care and their effects on the skin. 3. Establish the knowledge of cosmetologists about peptides and their effects on the skin. 4. Compare the knowledge of cosmetologists about peptides and their effects on the skin according to the education of cosmetologists. Research methodology and research subjects: In the final work the analysis of scientific and professional literature, its comparison and systematization and anonymous online survey were performed. In order to reveal the knowledge of cosmetologists about peptides and their effects on the skin, a quantitative study was chosen, the tool of which was an online questionnaire. The study took place from February 2 to 29, 2020, and involved 50 cosmetologists. Study participants were selected by probabilistic simple random sampling. The questionnaire consisted of 19 closed-ended questions composed by the author of the final work. The obtained data were systematized using Microsoft Excel 2010 program and SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis program. Research results and conclusions: the study revealed that most cosmetologists know the sources of peptide production, the mechanism of action, groups of peptides, and what skin problems peptides are used to solve. Also, most cosmetologists are aware of the contraindications to the use of peptides and the possible side effects and ways of using peptides. According to the results of the study, cosmetologists have less knowledge about the effects of the most commonly used peptides in 8 cosmetics on the skin. Comparing the knowledge of cosmetologists about peptides and their effects on the skin with the education of specialists, it turned out that cosmetologists with higher education have the most knowledge about peptides and their effects on the skin. Professionally educated specialists and graduate cosmetologists have slightly less knowledge.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas. Grožio priemonės su peptidais – vienas naujausių pasaulinio garso dermatologijos srities mokslininkų laimėjimų. Anot jų, tokie medicinoje jau daugiau kaip trisdešimt metų žinomi ir naudojami komponentai, veiksmingumu pranoksta vienas populiariausių medžiagų kosmetikoje: elastiną, kolageną, keratiną. Tyrimo problema. Kokios yra kosmetologų žinios apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai? Tyrimo objektas. Kosmetologų žinios apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai. Tyrimo tikslas. Atskleisti kosmetologų žinias apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti odoje esančias bioaktyvias medžiagas. 2. Aptarti odos priežiūrai naudojamus peptidus ir jų poveikį odai. 3. Nustatyti kosmetologų žinias apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai. 4. Palyginti kosmetologų žinias apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai pagal kosmetologų išsilavinimą. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: baigiamajame darbe buvo atlikta mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė, jos lyginimas ir susisteminimas bei anoniminė apklausa internetu. Siekiant atskleisti kosmetologų žinias apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai, buvo pasirinktas kiekybinis tyrimas, kurio instrumentas – internetinė anketa. Tyrimas vyko 2020 metų vasario mėnesio 2 – 29 dienomis, jame dalyvavo 50 kosmetologų. Tyrimo dalyviai buvo atrinkti tikimybinės paprastosios atsitiktinės imties būdu. Anketą sudarė 19 uždaro tipo klausimų, kuriuos sudarė baigiamojo darbo autorė. Gauti duomenys buvo susisteminti naudojant Microsoft Excel 2010 programą ir SPSS 17.0 statistinės analizės programą. Tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados: atlikus tyrimą paaiškėjo, kad didžioji dalis kosmetologų žino peptidų gavimo šaltinius, veikimo mechanizmą, peptidų grupes ir kokioms odos problemoms spręsti naudojami peptidai. Taip pat daugumą kosmetologų žino peptidų naudojimo kontraindikacijas bei galimus šalutinius poveikius ir peptidų vartojimo būdus. Tyrimo rezultatų duomenimis kosmetologai turi mažiau žinių apie dažniausiai kosmetinėse priemonėse naudojamų peptidų poveikį odai. Lyginant kosmetologų žinias apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai su specialistų išsilavinimu, paaiškėjo, kad daugiausiai žinių apie peptidus ir jų poveikį odai turi aukštąjį išsilavinimą įgyję kosmetologai. Šiek tiek mažiau žinių turį profesinį išsilavinimą įgyję specialistai ir kursus baigę kosmetologai.	en_US
