dc.description	Dental services are becoming more and more popular among the public, and the range of services is also constantly expanding, so dentists or oral hygienists are increasingly working in teams with dental assistants to improve service quality, optimize service delivery time and productivity. Although there is almost no research in Lithuania analyzing the teamwork of a dentist and his assistant, such research is gaining more and more attention in foreign scientific literature, as the results of research increasingly confirm the importance and usefulness of the four-handed working method of the dentist and his assistant in the provision of dental services. The aim of the work: To determine the opinion of the dental assistant about the possibilities of applying the four-hand method. Work tasks: 1. To define the specifics of the dental assistant work. 2. To point out the possibilities of the four-handed working method between a dentist and his assistant. 3. To reveal the peculiarities of the application of the four-hand method and the factors complicating the application of this method in the activities of the dentist and his assistant. Research methods: Quantitative research - questionnaire survey. Research subjects: 54 respondents working as dental assistants. Conclusions: 1. The results of the research revealed that the application of the four-hand work method in the work activities of dentists and their assistants is widespread, this work method is usually planned by the specialists themselves during the work processes. In the course of a working day, the four-handed working method in institutions usually makes up 50-70 percent of all day jobs. The application of the four-hand method in the work of dental institutions is usually determined by the abundance of procedures and the desire to perform procedures faster for patients. The procedures of the four-handed method are mostly used in the preparation of examination and treatment tools, dental prosthetics, preparation of treatment materials, selection of instruments for dentist procedures, dental fillings. The application of the four-hand method in dental institutions is most complicated by the lack of conditions for team work. dc.description.abstract	Odontologinės paslaugos tampa vis populiaresnės visuomenės tarpe, o ir pačių paslaugų spektras taip pat nuolatos plečiamas, todėl siekiant gerinti paslaugų kokybę, optimizuoti paslaugų teikimo trukmę ir darbo našumą vis dažniau gydytojai odontologai ar burnos higienos specialistai dirba komandiniame darbe su gydytojų odontologų padėjėjais. Nors Lietuvoje mokslinių tyrimų, analizuojančių gydytojo odontologo ir jo padėjėjo komandinį darbą beveik neatliekama, tačiau užsienio mokslinėje literatūroje tokie tyrimai sulaukia vis didesnio mokslininkų dėmesio, nes tyrimų rezultatai vis dažniau patvirtina gydytojo odontologo ir jo padėjėjo keturių rankų darbo metodo svarbą ir naudingą reikšmę teikiant odontologines paslaugas. Tyrimo tikslas: Nustatyti gydytojo odontologo padėjėjo nuomonę apie keturių rankų darbo metodo pritaikymo galimybes. Darbo uždaviniai: 1. Apibrėžti gydytojo odontologo padėjėjo darbo specifiką. 2. Išskirti gydytojo odontologo ir jo padėjėjo keturių rankų darbo metodo galimybes. 3. Atskleisti keturių rankų darbo metodo taikymo ypatumus ir šio metodo taikymą apsunkinančius veiksnius gydytojo odontologo ir jo padėjėjo veikloje. Tyrimo metodai: Kiekybinis tyrimas – anketinė apklausa. Tiriamieji: 54 respondentai, dirbantys gydytojų odontologų padėjėjais. Išvados: 1. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, jog keturių rankų darbo metodo taikymas gydytojų odontologų ir jų padėjėjų darbinėje veikloje yra paplitęs, dažniausiai šį darbo metodą darbų procesų eigoje susiplanuoja patys specialistai. Darbo dienos eigoje keturių rankų darbo metodas įstaigose dažniausiai sudaro 50-70 proc. visų dienos darbų. Dažniausiai keturių rankų darbo metodo taikymą odontologinių įstaigų darbe nulemia procedūrų gausa, siekis greičiau atlikti procedūras pacientams. Keturių rankų darbo metodo procedūros dažniausiai taikomos paruošiant apžiūros ir gydymo priemones, atliekant dantų protezavimą, ruošiant gydymo medžiagas, parenkant instrumentus gydytojui odontologui atliekant procedūras, atliekant dantų plombavimą. Keturių rankų metodo taikymą odontologinėse įstaigose labiausiai apsunkina sąlygų komandiniam darbui trūkumas.	en_US
