In this final work are analyzed methods of full and partial removable acrylic dentures with different fixations. Also, are distinguished the advantages and disadvantages of different fixations. Comparison of production stages of selected removable acrylic dentures with different fixations.
The aim of the work - compare the methods and stages of production of removable acrylic dentures.
Work tasks 1. To reveal the advantages and disadvantages of removable acrylic tooth prostheses and to describe the stages of the production of removable acrylic prostheses. 2. Make two removable acrylic tooth prostheses with different fixations and compare their production stages. In the first part of the work theoretically reviews the fixation of removable tooth prostheses, their advantages and disadvantages, describes the methods and stages of production. In the second part of the work, two removable acrylic dentures are made of two different fixations. The stages of production are discussed and compared.
In Lithuania and the whole world, there are increasing numbers of people who, for various reasons, have lost some or even all natural teeth. Most of these people are retired, so their prosthetic options are not as extensive as those of younger people. In this work describes the fixation of removable full and partial acrylic tooth prostheses, which are more commonly used in elderly patients.
