Eligijus Kolojanskas (dental technology study program) has done graduation thesis ,,Glazed and pressed lithium disilicate (e.max) glass ceramics comparative work evaluation.“ The manager: Ausra Baltrušaitiene. Kaunas college, faculty of medicine, health of mouth cathedral. Kaunas,2018.
The aim: To produce and to polish lithium disilicate (e.max) restorations using colouring and layering techniques.
This thesis describes how IPS e.max Press and IPS e.max Ceram could be used, also the production techniques and preparation requirements for non - metal ceramics. The IPS e.max Press - pressed tablets and IPS e.max Ceram - ceramic powder is widely described in the thesis.
Working methods: 1. Scientific literature analysis, which is the aim to describe possible restoration methods. 2. Comparison of restorations.
In the practical part of the thesis are shown upper jaw 12 – 22 tooth glazed crown producing stages. The final result met the expectations of the patient and the dentist. |
