According to the scientific study, around 2.4 billion people (33% of the population) suffer from dental caries in permanent teeth. In addition to recent research, teeth wane, change its color and can get easily traumatised. Damaged teeth lose their function become not aesthetic and that is why they are restored. Bacteria in the mouth releases acids that dissolve minerals in teeth and negatively affect restorations. Studies have shown that restored teeth tend to accumulate a thicker amount of plaque. Therefore personal oral hygiene control is important to prevent periodontal diseases and to maintain restorations as long as possible. The goal of the reseach: reveal patient‘s personal dental hygiene after teeth reconstruction. |
